  • Great bag, great size, comfortable!
Short and sweet, it’s a great bag and it’s comfortable and fits a ton. I know I read a review that mentioned the Anker 737 Powercore 24k not being able to fit, or fit “comfortably” but I have zero issues putting my RoG Ally, Anker 737, and a power cable in the bag, zipping it closed (comfortably), and carrying it. There is also room for other things like in-ear monitors, usbc external monitor cable, small notebook or keyboard (I use a foldable one), etc. ... show more

  • A Snug Fit for all the pictured pockets.
So, some things the pics don't show readily: -- It's smaller than it looks. Maybe an inch longer than the Steam Deck case you get with the 256 GB and 512 GB models, but just as thick. -- The room for all the extra pockets is because the bottom of the Steam Deck doesn't have a moulded bottom plate holding it. Without that, there's room for a battery pack, Nintendo Switch, maybe some cords, but no chargers. (Unless you switch out to a slim rectangular PD one that fits in a pocket and one PD USB-C cable tops.) -- The case lid is exactly as hard as the Steam Deck case. While not covered in braided vinyl, it has as much give on piercing pressure as the official Steam case. It's enough to stop a drop or a bump. But if you trip and land on top of it, your goods are likely just as broken. This isn't a Pelican or Gator case equivalent. -- The strap is able to be toggled to your other shoulder to either fill your empty shoulder, or to please your dominant hand/arm more. There's a sewn in belt on the shoulder strap that you can attach accessories, or if you're not a fan of the shoulder strap, bind it up, tuck it in the loop and just use the handle. (You'll need a second band like a Velcro strip to take it up all the way without flopping about.) This is exactly as it looks: a shoulder strap to make it easier to carry and across the chest placement makes it more defensible in an Airport or crowded area. (Putting the case across the back not advised, it's as flattering as a shoulder seatbelt. For a woman or double-breasted suit wearing guy, not hard to guess why.) I'm tempted to knock a star off for the depth. All the items in the pockets would be less of a tight fit if it was only .5" deeper. Even a zipper gusset to add an inch or two at the customer's option would be a positive addition. Otherwise I'm pleased with the case. ... show more

  • Solid case, some space limitations
So I've have this case for about a year now, and it's definitely done the job. Its nice to be able to just sling my Deck over my shoulder and go whenever I need; IMHO a case like this makes the Steam Deck even more portable. The first major adventure I took it on, Puerto Rico, was a true test of this bag. We accidentally left our stuff too close to the tide at one of the beaches in San Juan, and a big wave came in and soaked everything. Surprisingly and thankfully, the inside of the case was bone dry. A hurricane hit after we arrived, and the MVRPDXC kept my Deck completely dry as we had to move from our flooded Airbnb to a hotel. I do wish it could fit more, but I am happy that it is compatible with most other cases like the JSAUX kickstand and modcase. ... show more

  • Accessorize right and you just might have a fully portable PC on your hands!
This carrying case was a life saver on a business trip I took last year, which allowed me to set up a full little workstation. The space for the deck is very well considered, and the pockets make it easy to organize. If you want a good mobile PC setup, this is what I paired with this case: - Valve's official Deck Dock (I was previously using a JSAUX docking station as well which was fine at first but had a big stand that made it too thick to easily get in with everything else. Valve's is thinner and the deck sits fine without the tall stand) - - A very small but surprisingly nice mouse - - A sturdy foldable keyboard that's a bit awkward to type on but undoubtedly fits the profile - - I generally don't go for earbuds, but if you need things in a compact spaces they can't be beat. These are really nice, though the CHU II recently launched just last week and those are a few bucks heaper so that might be even better. They come with a little wallet to store them in too, but they are a tad awkward to wrap back in. The wallet slides nicely into the pocket on the backside of this case And valve's official charger and it's fabric bag it came in also fit perfectly with the earbuds. Put all that in and you'll have a pretty thick bundle but it never feels like it's straining squeezing things too tight and the deck itself is always safe. My deck was actually better than my boss's laptop for certain tasks and the deck really is a capable little machine for getting a bit of work done. ... show more

  • The best Deck designed sling bag.
I really like this case. Fits the deck perfectly, has cutouts for the thumbsticks, inner side is padded, side facing your body (like most backpacks) has foam for cushioning, and the side facing outwards has a hardened shell for impact protection. There's also a safety strap for the Deck that stops it from falling out if you forget to zip the case (one of the main complaints about the official Deck case, even though that is always the user's fault). Worth the price over all the cheap cases out there. Only question is its long term durability (as with any case, sling bag, or backpack). ... show more

  • The perfect bag for your Deck.
Could fit all that into this one bag. Overall, 10 out 10.

  • Great case, even with a mobile-dock
Honestly a great case. Can hold quite a bit, like a mini bluetooth keyboard, the charging cable, the Steam Deck (even with a clip-on dock!) Can't house much more than that though. Quality is good, and bag is balanced with its strap.
