I own 4 of these "Wallflower Sassy High Rise Skinny" jeans in the Riverton color and they are the best-fitting jeans I've owned in a long time. And they're my favorite. I first discovered these by accident at a Meijer store in Michigan. I no longer live in that state, so I was thrilled to find them here on Amazon. I am 63 years old (which I'm probably not the company's typical demographic. I think they cater more to a younger crowd). After analyzing my figure in the mirror a couple years back, I determined that I have an Apple Shape body type (large bust, large stomach, narrow hips and thighs, a flat bottom, and great legs). It's a struggle to find jeans that fit my thick waist and also my thin hips and legs. Normally I'm swimming in excess fabric in the seat and upper thighs. These jeans are perfect for me. They are high rise and come up over my protruding stomach and sit at my natural waistline (if only I had a defined waist anymore!). They are considered "skinny" jeans, so that means they are narrower in the seat and thighs and all the way down to the ankles--just what I need since I carry all my weight and body fat in my middle. I wear these normally with button down tops (I love crisply ironed tailored button down tops) that I leave untucked so as to hide my tummy better. I usually wear these with cute loafers, etc. and not sneakers so much. I love how I look in these jeans. I always wash my jeans inside out in cold water and hang them to air dry. I never ever put them in the dryer. The two pair I've had for 3 years now look just as good today as the two that I recently ordered from Amazon. The jeans do stretch (the waist is forgiving). They do keep their shape nicely in the seat and thighs, without getting all baggy later in the day. They don't fade much if you wash them the way I suggest. Mine have never shrunk either (again no dryer). I can wear them comfortably all day. The only thing I don't care for is the 3 buttons above the zipper. I wish it was just a single button with a longer zipper, but that's just me. If you're a "curvy" body type with broader hips and thighs, these might not be the jeans for you. But if you're an Apple body type like me, give them a try. Like the tag on the jeans says "Meet your new BFF (best fit forever). A high rise & stylized fit that will lift you up and make you look slim and sleek" Why doesn't love that?! ... show more

These are my GO TO jeans! I have purchased at least 6 pair of them in the past 18 months - not because they have needed to be replaced, but because I like them so much, so I continue to add to my denim collection! I have also recommended them to friends a d family looking for a good, quality jean. They are fantastic! Highly recommend for those of all sizes - I am a larger gal, especially in the hips, butt area and these are one of the only jeans I am able to find to fit correctly. Plus, the value is fantastic (they often go on sale for between $30-35, so keep an eye out!). They are also not super heavy, but don't wear out in the crotch area like some jeans do (trust me I KNOW!!). The quality, value, fit, comfort, style - everything is there with these jeans! Overall fit as expected and loved the look, however the denim was a little thinner than I was anticipating. I didn't feel for the price that it was worth keeping. I didn't sense they'd hold up to long term wash and wear. Very soft, stretchy and the high rise cut hits just right though.

I really wanted to love these pants. I'm 6' and trying to find great pants is hard. In the legs they are slimming, but the top .... it looks like I have a droopy butt. They are very comfortable and have wore them a few times, but they are just not a go to look for me. I might be old school with this but worn with tights for a cute look and an oversized sweater. That seems to be the only look to cover the droopy butt look. Someone else said, but they do remind me of Mudd pants. ... show more

If you have legs on the short side these are not for you. These are at least 3 inches too long & need to either be turned up or tucked in a boot. I found the waist to run a tad larger than the rest of the cut. They are on the thin side, more like a heavy jegging but extremely extremely soft & stretchy too. Plenty of room to get over the rump or thighs. I am 5’5 & 250. High waisted w/3 buttons that are easy on/off. Like all Wallflower jeans the zipper is cheap & rough & catches all the way up & down. The zipper is also tucked way down into the seam so be prepared to play w it to get it going. ... show more

My 13yr old daughter is the size of her 10yr old sister. She normally wears size 10-12 in girls pants. But her body isn't straight through the hips at all and she always has problems with gapping at the waist. Low rise have never worked for her. I took a chance and bought these in a size zero to see if they'd work better than girls pants to fit her curvy hips. They are FANTASTIC! What a confidence boost!
