I got these to actually use to keep a diaper changing mat from slipping around on top of a wood dresser/changing table and they are working like a champ! They stick to both surfaces (plastic mat and varnished wood table top) amazingly well. I can't speak to how they would stick to fabric but they adhere very strongly with how I have used them. I also have not tried pulling them up to see if they leave behind any residue, I will update if any issues there, but so far I am 1,000% happy that they work as I was hoping!

Love these corner gripping adhesives. I used them for my large living room rugs and hallway runners. They are better than the ones that you have to cut. These actually make the rugs stay out! We have a big Rottweiler who loves to run around and with these adhesives, the rugs do not move like before. I did, however, had to add to the sides for the larger area rugs to add more adhesion. Great product as you can easily remove and replace. The pads do not stick as well at first but I ended up applying pressure on them once on the floor to help the adhesive stay on the rugs. I also have to be careful when I peel them off the floor as sometimes they stay on the floor and not on the rug. I do not know the long time effect of the adhesive pads once they are on the floor as I have only had them for a month (ie will they stain the floor? will they be hard to remove off the floor?) Overall, a good product. May need to update review after a year to test the durability.

I bought these to keep my rug in place because my puppy loves to take the rug and play with it. They were easy to use. Some stayed stuck to the rug and some to the floor. But then again the rug I was using these for was thin. So they may work better on a standard rug. One of the tapes stuck to the floor extremely well, I would say too well. They were a pain to take off of this thin rug and floor. The rug got ruined. I'm not saying they won't work on a standard rug. A standard rug is probably the best use for this item.

These worked great on my runner but when it came to any of my rugs they were terrible. I used them on rugs from 4'x5' to 10'x12' and all the rugs starting shifting crateing lumps near the adhesive pads within 2 days. I would fix that issue but it would do it more and more. By 5 days they were scrunched up or left behind on the floor. I wish I could get a refund. To do it over, I would put more on the rugs because they have great adhesive. My runner is perfectly held down.

Got these for two kitchen runner type rugs. Put them on and the rugs were held in place easily. What really surprised me though was that we could pull the rugs up (carefully) and machine wash them and then put them back down and they still were sticky and working.
