If you have any type of animal in your home with carpet… a vacuum doesn’t get all the hair! I literally just got this today and I am amazed at how much hair I’ve gotten up!!! We have light colored carpet with a light colored husky… so I had no clue that the vacuum wasn’t getting it all. 10/10 would recommend this. Carpet looks brand new again.

For all you shedding pet owners out there, especially you dog owners this might be the rake for you when it comes to pet hair removal. It took awhile to get this rake, but it was worth the wait. This review needed pictures and not some lengthy sentence saying how it was a wonder thing. My Sadie, who is a bullmastiff mix, sheds like you wouldn't believe for such a short hair dog. There is a bed in the living room and another in the master bedroom. The pictures are from the living room blanket that lays on the bed. The close-up picture is the rake constructed of brass tines. The next three pictures shows what I pulled off the front. The last one from the back. The rake is easy to assemble and disassemble, or you can hang it up. A hanger is provided. I found out fast that pushing the rake away from me resulted in grabbing the material. Pulling toward me was better. It seems that the brass tines are offset a tiny bit but it makes a big difference in how you use the rake. I tried it on some runners and a larger floor covering and found that pushing the rake works fine, but again it depends on the fabric. What I had were tight weave runners, etc. I prefer pulling yet you still need a bit of elbow grease either way. The blankets needed washing but clogging the drain holes was out of the question. This gets 5 stars since the rake did what I wanted it to do. The pictures don't lie and both blankets are clean, and my Sadie is a happy ten year old puppy!

I really like this carpet rake--more than I thought I might! We have several dogs, and while we have all vinyl flooring on our main level, we do have carpet on our stairs and our second level. I used this rake on the steps and the other carpeted areas, and I was astounded at how much hair it pulled up, easily and quickly. The metal "teeth" feel like they are decent quality and work in a really clever way--to pull hair out of the carpet but NOT to damage the carpet in any way. One other thing I really like about this rake is that the handle is extremely long, so it's comfortable to use. The whole contraption is easy to put together as well. The handle is cheap-feeling; definitely not high-quality plastic. But, hopefully it will last long enough with gentle use. This does do a good job of deep-cleaning a carpet!

This rake broom is pretty good. It was easy to put together and the handle is nice and long. I did try it on some different carpets and rugs. It worked fine on thicker floor carpeting but did not do good at all on some rugs. For the rugs, whether thick or short pile, it does not work well if they do not have a strong backing or are not taped to floor all over. It did work fine on the corners of the rugs that are taped down around the corners, but did not work good on the rest of the carpet, it would just kind of stick and pull. So, for installed floor carpeting it does work good.

We bought this rake because we really liked the handheld one so we wanted to get a bigger one to sweep a larger area, but this product just didn't work as we expected. The handle was flimsy and the rake part did not capture a lot of the dog hair on my carpets. If this is the first one I got then I would be pretty pleased, but having used a better one, this one just isn't as good and cost 4 times the price.
