My expectations were minimal when I ordered it, because of the price. But it's winter now, and the floors are REALLY cold. My dogs sleep there and I felt so bad, so I looked for a cheap rug and found this. Change of plans! When it came, it was vacuum packed so it looked pretty thing anyway. But when I opened it and it started to fluff up, I was very pleased! BUT, when I ran my hands over it, and ran my fingers through the VERY ICE pile, I was absolutely in LOVE with this rug! It is so soft and silky, it has no "plastic" smell as items often so when vacuum packed, I decided it's going on MY side of the bed, for ME to put my feet on first thng out of bed! I told the dogs I'll share it. It is a BEAUTIFUL, rich red in color, and I do have both a dense pad as well as a gripper pad under it, which makes feel even more plush. I want this on the entire floor. Since it is brand new, I may not be so crazy about it in 6 moths, depending on how it wears. But for the price, if it lasts a year, t will be worth it and I will replace it. But if it lasts longer, then it was a steal! This is a rug designed for the barefoot experience. Carpet will never feel like this. Everytime I walk on it barefoot, I sigh with pleaure. It is very soft. I have a small room that I use it like wall to wall carpet in. It is bound well enough. I had to cut it to fit it perfectly. I thought it would shed horribly, but it has not. Very happy. My only complaint is in the picture it looks like one solid color that changes when you run your hand over it. It is not. It looks more marbled. The media could not be loaded. This is a very cute rug and the size is nice for what we needed. However I would recommend for buying/use for decor for a front room (one that no one really uses). Positives: looks nice, feels nice, It’s super lightweight, affordable. Negatives: very difficult to clean, whether it’s food or just dry particles, I haven’t tried shaking it outside, but It’s pretty shaggy and the bristles are very thin and soft, so things really get stuck in there. Sadly probably won’t last longer than a year, but it’s a good/pretty temporary rug for what I paid for it. ... show more

This product is not washable. I wash it. It tore underneath. It doesn’t lay flat. I even laid it out on a trampoline to air dry and the rug is now destroyed. This is not a good quality rug.
