The media could not be loaded. I've been skating my whole life and have always thought that it would be awesome to have a skateboard that powered itself. When I was younger no such thing existed. I was at a local park one day when I saw someone riding a skateboard but they weren't powering it with their feet. Imagine my surprise when I went home and looked up electric skateboards. My mind was blown. There were so many options. Some of them were really expensive. I decided to try my luck on a "value" option and hoped to get just a simple toy. I bought this Caroma skateboard and what I received blew me away. This thing is awesome! It's super simple to use. In my video you can see how easy it is to turn it on, and cycle through the three different speed options. The way that it intelligently brakes also saves you from abrupt stops. I took it out today and went about 5 miles on it and it still had battery left to go more. The deck is high quality. The trucks and wheels can be easily tuned using the provided multitool. I like my trucks tight so the first thing I did was tighten them up a bit. It took me about a minute to dial it in, and then I was ready to go. I also love that it has an integrated carrying handle, making it easy to pick up and walk inside a business or to store it somewhere. The longboard is easy to control and rides over bumpy terrain really smooth hitting top speeds of 11-15mph on flat ground, sadly the boards battery is only great for local commuting and cruising for its short battery life but its still very fun to ride and i recommend it to anyone whose looking for a electric skateboard to ride around on, especially going to school. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Caroma Electric Skateboard, and overall, I’m quite happy with it. For a beginner like me, it’s a solid entry-level electric longboard. The 350W motor offers decent power, allowing me to reach a top speed of 12 MPH, which feels just right for cruising around town. The adjustable speed settings are perfect for when I want to slow things down or pick up the pace. The 13-mile range is great for longer rides, though I found it best suited for relatively flat surfaces. It handles mild hills but struggles a bit on steeper inclines. The remote is easy to use, and the skateboard feels sturdy underfoot, giving me confidence while riding. One area for improvement is the battery life under continuous heavy use; it drains faster if you’re riding at top speeds for a while. But for casual riding and short commutes, it’s perfect. The board’s design is sleek, and it’s lightweight enough to carry when needed. All in all, this is a great electric skateboard for both teens and adults, especially beginners. If you’re looking for something fun and reliable without breaking the bank, I’d recommend giving the Caroma a try.     • Poor response to returns.
I bought this for my grandson, and after about 6 uses it stopped charging. I sent the board back on Sept. 10th and have yet to see the funds returned to my account. Very poor customer service.

After a full charge sometimes it does not want to power on unless i plug the charger back in and hit the power button. Besides that this thing is fun! Handles sidewalks well, except for the really bad areas. Idk how much r&d they put on the brakes but they are just the right amount of weak enough it doesnt throw you off but it still works to slow you down! The trucks are not good but i guess that and the small motor keep it cheap. Over all its great for beginners and commuting short distances! ... show more
