I used this exact model that a friend had and the suction that helps exfoliate actually worked. This one was completely weak, no suction and no exfoliation. I could never get it to charge up. The indicator said it was charged, I'd turn it on and it would immediately run out of battery. Immediately like 2 seconds after starting. Complete junk. Returning.

I knew this wasn’t going to remove blackheads but I wanted to try it anyway. It does deep clean the pores and does a nice job of exfoliating. The suction power is strong so be careful because it can upset and even break capillaries. Even though I don’t love it I will continue to use it for exfoliation and deep cleansing. I use it after I steam my face for 10 - 15 minutes. Good for in between professional facials.

This microdermabrasion tool definitely has the power! This little tool is great for an overall at-home Microdermabrasion treatment. It's fairly easy to use and has the power to really give your skin a close-to-spa treatment. The product comes with two functions - the diamond-bit treatment head to really buff and exfoliate the skin and three extraction heads to vacuum up and remove all of the resulting dead skin. With 5 customizable speeds/power-levels, you're free to set it as light or as powerful as you choose - I certainly recommend starting on the lowest level for your first try. I am always the one that says "Oh, I'm no newbie - that's not meant for me, I can try stronger!" So, I tried the second lowest level for my first time and I should have likely started lower! Start slow - this baby has the power! The other recommendation that is made by Spa Sciences when using this tool - and that I will strongly second - is to ensure that you keep the tool moving across your skin at all times. Do not let the tool hover over any one portion of your skin for a longer period of time. It will try to suction and get stuck in one area due to the suction power - try not to let that happen as it will lead to red marks and irritated areas. (If that happens, it's okay - the irritated red areas were gone by the next morning! The price point, at $29, can't be beat! For a tool that has this power level and does this level of a job at home, $29 is a steal, in my opinion. If you're looking for a tool that has the power to give you a genuine at-home microdermabrasion treatment at an affordable price, I'd definitely recommend checking out the Mio!

I had a similar device years ago to address a problem I was having with blackheads on the sides of my nose. It worked and I had not experienced a reoccurrence, so a few years ago I disposed of the device, since it was corded and clumsy to use. Well now the blackheads have returned and while researching devices to address the problem I found this. It is easy to use, since it is cordless and is very effective at removing the blackheads. Very pleased with this purchase!

The media could not be loaded. This device is EVERYTHING. It gently exfoliates, smooths out texture, minimizes pores, and even helps with acne marks and fine lines. I saw a difference after just one use — my skin looked fresher, more radiant, and so much smoother. I struggle with blackheads on my nose, and this really helped extract them without irritating my skin. Super easy to use and honestly feels like a spa treatment at home. I’m obsessed!

First off, the fact that this is a cordless device is super handy! It's so easy to maneuver, it makes using this a breeze! I've subjected my skin to lot's of abuse over the years- way too much sun exposure that has led to dark spots and dullness. After using this weekly for the last few months, I have a renewed sense of confidence and am smiling a lot more! A friend that I hadn't seen for a while accused me of reverse aging! I have also found that my serums and potions last a lot longer and are absorbed into my skin much more effectively. Love love love!
