I work on heavy equipment, I work in Sun, rain, snow and everything in between. These boots hold up well and are comfortable. I have been wearing them for about 6 years now and have had atleast 5 pairs now. I will keep buying them. These boots are very similar to Chippewas.

This is our son's 3rd pair of Carolina's! He loves them and has grown out of them long before he has worn them down. He wears these to school, chop wood, ride his quad, and would be more than happy to trounce through the house like a buffalo with them on (which is the only time he's discouraged from wearing them!). These are an every occasion boot for him! We've donated every pair to other tweenagers to continue to enjoy and get use of. This particular pair we needed to return as the fit wasn't 'just right' and thankfully the process of returning them was about as easy as it was to order them. He loves his Carolina Boots!

I've tried various boots while working the iron for 3.5 years as a freight conductor on a short line railroad in south east Colorado. I had to climb cars, walk on gravel, walk railroad ties, and use my boots to slow myself down from stepping off moving cars that were being pulled by the engine. I tried many a boot but it wasn't until I bought these that I finally found a boot that could hold up to the steel of rail roading. I would suggest buying socks designed for steel toed boots to go along with these boots as the composite toe was just a bit rough on the outsides of my large toes. The socks made for steel toed boots cured that problem. The best socks were the ones made by Sears but they don't make those any more...Carharts weren't too bad either. Comfy boots that held up... well worth the price if you need a boot for extreme working conditions.

I got these boots about a month ago and they are great! They broke in within a week and they still have minimum wear. Plus they are so comfortable that I almost wear them exclusively anywhere, anymore. (I'm an Arborist) and climb trees with pretty rough bark quite frequently. I know it's only been about a month like I said but they are holding up much better than previous boots I've worn. The steel shank is a lifesaver when I'm wearing my climbing gaffs. I'll update if they end up not being worth it.

Got these boots originally for lineman school, and they’ve been solid. Breaking them in was a little rough on the feet at first, but once they loosened up they’re super comfortable, and I wear them every day. They’re tough, durable, and built to last. Perfect for long days on your feet or out in the field.

It’s a new boot for me, they need too be broken in correctly and with time.... don’t do what I did and wear them out of the box for a full 12hours shift..... miserable after about 4 hours.... blisters.... yeah I made a noob mistake, but it’s been about 10years since I’ve owned a quality pair of work boots..... break in will take a few weeks but that’s too be expected with a high quality logger/packer boot. A little time and some good leather conditioner and these will be a great investment for a work boot in west Texas oil field. UPDATE: so I’ve been wearing these boots on and off since July.... finally just despised too clean them up really good and then throw a bunch of mink oil on them.... and BAM instance fit!!! Snugged up the laces and wore them for a few days (about 8-10hours) each day.... these boots are so freaking comfortable, no hot spots, blisters, soreness, etc. I’m going to say that these are almost as comfortable as my ARIAT boots I trade off with. I am really enjoying these CAROLINAS and will be purchasing the non-safety/soft toe style for my kicking around the house yard work boots.... yes, these are an investment and time too break them in, but for the life and longevity of a really good pair of work boots, it’s worth the money for you and your feet.
