You can tell this is an inexpensive watch, but it looks nice. The design in intricate. It comes in an ordinary cardboard box with polka dots with some cut up spongy foam as the presentation for maybe a young girl. Then there is a little tool to adjust the length of the watch band which is very handy. I didn't scan the QR code for the video but just looked at their little pamphlet and figured out how to take out three links. I had to hammer it back together with the side of a pocketknife since they didn't include the little hammer pictured in the pamphlet. Once I set the time, it started ticking and working. The only problem is that with all the edges, it can get caught in a loopy blanket and tear up the blanket or have the setting knob pulled out which stops the watch. The links are long, so you won't get an exact fit with a thin wrist. You will either have very tight or a little loose. I opted for a little loose and it looks like a bracelet. The design is like little bows with a contrasting color in the middle of each for the knot. The clasp can be hard to work especially if you don't have long and strong nails. It lies very flush with the band and is very thin. I like that you can leave it on while washing your hands and if you splash some water on the face, it keeps working since it is water resistant. I'd like to start off by saying that this watch is extremely pretty. I'm not a huge watch person because I often find them bulky and rather unstylish looking, but this watch is so elegant and dainty. I'm a huge fan of the aesthetic! I do, in fact, actually wear this pretty often! That being said, oh my god the clasp is really hard for me to open. I don't keep long nails due to health issues, so I don't really have anything I can readily jam into the gap to apply pressure. I ended up using a string and pulling really hard, and it works but it kills my fingers every time. It's slowly getting looser and easier, though. I might've just gotten an especially tight one, or it could just simply be my lack of long fingernails that's giving me a rough time here. The watch itself is such a nice quality and the material feels good on the wrist; a nice weight but not too heavy, and no sharp bits! The plating seems pretty sturdy and hasn't tarnished at all - though I do avoid getting it wet as per product recommendations. The design of the band is really intricate and pretty even from a distance, and it even comes with a little tool and instructions for resizing. I ended up having to take it down about 3 links or so, and I'm so glad it came with an instruction video as I've never done anything like that before and I was a bit worried about messing it up or not using the link tool correctly. Oh, and it worked right out of the box. No need for me to fiddle around and put batteries in or any such nonsense. Overall, this is such an elegant watch for such a great price! I've seen much uglier and more poorly made watches that cost way more than this. The watch is too big. I can't adjust it to fit the size of my wrist. I tried for over two hours to remove some of the links, to shorten the watch. I can't do it. It's impossible. I got so frustrated that I haven't worn it so it will probably sit in a drawer forever.
