I’m normally a 6.5 in women’s but that was a bit tight, once they got broke in they were a little more comfortable I would recommend sizing up half a size and getting different insoles. Otherwise they’re great and I love them so far.

Got these boots for my job as an auto parts runner. I recommend shortening the break-in period by swapping the insoles with soft gel ones. As soon as I did that they were nearly perfect, it only took 3-4 days of wearing them to forget they were new. I stand and move heavy car parts all day and my feet are pretty much the only thing that isn’t sore when I clock out! The fortified toe also gives me piece of mind that I won’t brake any bones if I were to drop rotor on my feet. They’re a little short in the ankle for snowy weather, but they keep water out so long as you’re not trudging through deep snow. I recommend wearing wool socks for maximum comfort! These are a great pair of boots, I’ve been trudging through muddy job sites ankle deep and not once have my feet gotten wet! Break in time was pretty short as well. I have only one reason why I gave these 3 stars instead of 5; The metal eyelet on the inside on my right boot is CONSTANTLY digging into my ankle. I have tried positioning the tongue towards the inside of my foot to give some padding over the inside of my ankle. I’ve tried putting a single sock over the eyelet/ankle for more padding but still it digs through. The only relief I can get is if I don’t lace up the boots all the way up and as tight as my left boot but anyone knows that that isn’t safe, especially at a construction site. I’m at a loss, the left boot is so warm and comfortable and I have no heel/arch pain and there’s plenty of toe room. The right boot is the bane of my existence, and it’s come to the point where I have to step on the outside of my foot to relieve some of the pain digging in, I’ve had to ice the ankle because after 3 days into the workweek it was starting to swell up! The media could not be loaded. I bought these back in May 2022 and wanted to give them a chance before I wrote a review. I work frequently in paper mills and plants and so far these boots are very comfortable. Does not feel like I am wearing comp toe boots and are not heavy at all. However, they did hurt the heel of my foot after working three 12 hours shifts. I thought maybe I needed to break them in even after reading multiple reviews where most people said they did not have to. I also thought maybe I should’ve went up half a size normally I wear a size 9 in women. After about a week and a half (work five 12 hour shifts) and no relief I did remove the insoles and replaced them with dr.scholls and they feel 100x better. I am going to see how long they last but so far so good. I recommend going half size up from your normal size though. ... show more

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I've always been a Carhartt fan and have had my eye on these babies since they came out. Now that I have them, I wish I would have ordered them ages ago! They're incredibly comfortable to wear for 18 hour days and give me the ankle stability that I need when on the job site. I’ve had these boots for about 3 weeks now and they’re awesome. I’m very tough on my workwear and usually my boots don’t even make it to a year before they got tossed. These took maybe 2 days to break in and they are so comfortable. I also work outside mostly all day everyday and they’re fairly waterproof which is a must have for me. Dry feet are happy feet. I normally wear an 8 and purchased these boots in an 8. They fit true to size 100%. They’ve got some solid toes on them and they’re very comfortable. I would 100% recommend these. ... show more

They run a little big I think but overall a nice work boot that was pretty comfortable from day one. They could use more padding in the foot bed can definitely feel it when I'm on cement all day. I'm going to buy some good inserts.
