These seem to be well made. I have not worn them outside yet, but I believe they will work well at keeping my hands warm, based on the thickness of the insulation. I purchased the largest size available, and they are still a little bit snug. If you have very large hands ( I consider mine to be slightly large) you will probably want to select different gloves.
