I am 5'9", 193lbs. I have a smaller chest and a larger bottom. I bought a medium and it fits perfectly! I feel so pretty in this dress:) the length is perfect for me; not too long or too short. The double lining makes it a lot more comfortable since I won't worry about people seeing through it! And the elastic in the back allows it to have a flattering fit but also lets you sit down without cutting into your ribs. It doesn't have a particularly flowy skirt because of the shape of the skirt, which is perfect for me because I live in a pretty windy place. So I think it'll be good for attending an outdoor event.

This is one of those rare Amazon clothing wins. It doesn't happen often, so when it does, you want to shout about it!! :D I was expecting this to arrive and be teensy tiny, like all the other Asian-made, miniature sized items I've bought. From my history of purchasing, I have come to realize that when a clothing items is made in an Asian country and sold on Amazon, it's best to just avoid at all costs, or at LEAST size 3-5 times larger than your normal size. BUT...this dress actually fits, and in my normal size!! Praise BE!!!! I ordered my normal large, and it fits very well. It is not baggy or bunchy in any places, it fits securely and flatteringly in all the right places, and it appears to be very well made. The only issue I have with it -- but it's not a big deal -- is that the first/top button below the opening at the sternum (where it ties in the front) is a bit tight. I have to kind of suck-in and button it quickly. But, if I lost an inch or so in my mid-section I wouldn't have that problem...heh heh! ;D Anyway, this is a great dress, it is just as pictured, and it seems to be of high quality. Overall a good (and VERY lucky!!) choice.

This dress is very cute and flattering, and I like that it is lined (although the lining didn’t hold up great in mine, so not super durable). The feel of the fabric is very stiff and a little scratchy, but not uncomfortable. The buttons (only for looks) on my dress are off-center a bit, but it didn’t bother me much.

I ordered this in the navy blue, mostly because I really liked the contrast of the white buttons that it has in the photos. Well it came with matching buttons. For the pros: It does fit well and pretty accurately. I'm 5'10 and a 16/18 in clothing right now, ordered this in an XL. It buttoned up fine and technically it does fit. The fabric is ok. It could stand to be a little thicker, but its not so thin that it will cause issues with sheerness. If needed, you can always just put on a light slip for the bottom. Cons: I'm not sure how I'm going to make the bust area of this dress work. But it's really cute so I'm going to keep it and try. I'm a 38C and not very large at all. I have a broad chest but not particularly full. The point that I'm getting at is that I don't necessarily have a ton to cover, but there just needs to be a bit more fabric in the cups. Anyway that I tie it, I either get boob coming out the bottom near where it ties or out the top. I just wasn't expecting it to be quite so revealing. I'm going to work with it though and see if I can find a sticky bra that works or something like that. Also, if you aren't naturally pretty perky, its going to be a challenge to find a bra option that will get you sitting high enough for the chest to look flattering. There is no real support in the fabric. I think a big improvement would be to add some type of sewn in cups to the top, that would really help.

Purchased this dress for a summer trip to Italy and it was absolute perfection. I wanted something lightweight that wasn't too short, but also wasn't too conservative, and this checked all the boxes. The tie at the chest made me feel sassy and sexy, though I am smaller chested and thusly had no challenges at all with this area of the dress. The only con I had was the lining under the skirt tore at the seam the first day I wore it. Not the end of the world and I continued wearing it on my trip and beyond, but I was surprised that it came apart so quickly for the price of the dress. Regardless, I will very likely be purchasing additional colors.

Traditionally a size 12 dress, I purchased an XL and it fit perfectly. I am a C cup and based on the design of the dress I thought there would be more support once tied to allow me to go braless. Because of the design, you can't tie this tight enough to get a good lift without the center of the skirt looking weird. PRO TIP - purchase a sticky bra with a clear center clasp, pull your puppies together and then tie the front AROUND the bra clasp. Great cleavage & support, the ties hide the bra clasp, and everything stays where it belongs. The fabric is a nice thick cotton blend. While it is lined, the lining is so short so as to be nearly useless but the fabric was thick enough that it didn't matter. COLOR NOTE - The Cyan Blue is considerably darker than I thought it would be, closer to a very dark green.
