They may not be very fashionable, but these suspenders are just the thing for holding up your work pants when you’ve got a lot of tools hanging on you belt, you’re up a ladder, and it’s inconvenient to reach town and pull them up. They also great for winter work or recreation, when you don’t want to to unzip your coat. I use them whenever I’m shoveling snow or snowshoeing. I bought these specifically to hold my KLIM riding pants up which racing off road motorcycles. They adjust to the length I need them (6' tall with a long torso and belly) and the clamps are HD and clamp securely to my riding pants. Plus the straps are wide enough to not dig into my shoulders while riding or walking around. I'd give them 5/5 stars after 7 off road race events. ... show more

These could be a little thicker and therefore have stronger elasticity. I use these when I am doing home chores with tools. My carpenter pants typically have a wooden folding ruler and a knife in the pockets and maybe a hammer as well.
