Description

Carhartt developed Traditional Welt work boots to offer a wide variety of styles in classic designs that are incredibly durable, comfortable and affordable. Tough jobs call for tough boots. Goodyear welt construction with lug bottom Carhartt rubber outsoles provide superior traction and durability. A PU Cushion Comfort Insole and PU strobel cushion pad provide comfortable support and reduce foot fatigue. All styles incorporate FastDry Technology linings that wick away sweat for comfort.

I only wore them one time working but my feet never hurt so bad wearing boots the first time. Maybe they would get better with time, but i do a lot of crouching and bending at my job and I’ve already seen plenty of others who have had their soles tear off. I’ve tried a lot of different boot manufacturers through the years including timberland, redwing, thurogood, Carolina’s, etc and I’m very surprised by these boots. I gave them a shot because of the price discount around the holidays. At first I was skeptical of the leather. I’m a structural steel welder/fabricator and I beat the hell out of boots. So usually the leather rips around the flew point of the toes. But so far a couple months in and they haven’t shown any signs of real stress. Usually within the first month i have threads coming apart, doesn’t matter what manufacturer it is it happens. But so far I don’t have that issue with this pair. This boot does break in fast because it is a lighter weight boot. This is a good warm weather boot for sure. Not ideal for winter but I’m making due. Overall even if I paid twice as much as I did, they’d still be cheaper than a pair of redwings and they’re holding up just as well if not better than redwings. Update June 2023 I’ve been wearing them everyday, even jumped trades from welding shop to HVAC work in the city. The leather still hasn’t given up like most boot brand leather does. The outter sole is beginning to loosen up a little more than I’d like but city walking is a bit taxing. ... show more

I had these boots for 6 months now and honestly they are great, comfortable. These are light weight too and i didnt slip on snow or grease. I use them for work and outdoor lawn care.

I am a Structural Collision Tech. Boots get hit with welding sparks, body filler dust, primer, and heavy steal. I wear them only for work m. I got a year out of them before the material near the steel toe started to rip and see through. Changed the laces once. I’ll buy a set every year. Comfortable and heavy duty. Good boot. ... show more
