  • Nice work boots
Size: 12 Wide Color: Wheat
One of my favorite pair of work boots that I've purchased. With my job I go through boots pretty quickly and these ones seem to hold up the longest. I like the composite toe as opposed to steel toe. The boots are very comfortable and the foot bed seems to fit my foot perfectly feet don't seem as sore at the end of the day. They are very lightweight and keep my feet at the perfect temperature. They are good at keeping feet dry unless foot is fully submerged under water. When it comes time to replace the ones I'm currently using, no doubt about it I will buy the 3xact same pair! ... show more

  • Good buy for the money
Size: 11.5 Color: Wheat
Fit true to size, comfortable out of the box, look and feel great and a good buy for the money. Solid rubber sole and solid composite toe. I like a loop on the back to pull the boot on a little easier, which this boot doesn't have. Happy with the purchase.

  • 4 months review
Size: 12 Wide Color: Wheat
I've had these boots for 4 months, and I'll say they are still pretty comfortable and still waterproof, but they're not exactly holding up like other boots I've had before. The front rubber over the toes seems to shrink, there's a v shaped slice that's more noticeable as the surrounding rubber seems to shrink. And just in the last few days the sole up by the toes is starting to separate. I'm a plumber for the local school district in the Mojave Desert. I often work 12+ hr days, sometimes 7 days a week.. The maintenance crew I'm on only consists of 5 guys, myself included. Spread out between 12 facilities, it's already a handful trying to juggle a constant flow of work orders, on top of any emergency issues that come up. I might be putting these boots through more than they're rated for but being they're Carhartt, I thought they'd be alot tougher. I notice these particular boots are imported? I was under the impression that Carhartt was made in the usa.. I'm not exactly sure I'd recommend them. For another $100 dollars I'd go with either Redwings or Wolverines but have them fit at a shop, not bought online. At least you get what you pay for.. all in all they're not terrible, just not quite up to, what may be "unreasonably high expectations." It is what it is. ... show more

  • Great Boot !!
Size: 9 Wide Color: Wheat
It is Jan. 5, 2020... I bought these Carhartt's in Feb. 2019 and I really am impressed with these Boots!! I have worn Timberland Boots for so long and became so concerned about their decreasing quality... I would normally have to replace my Timberland's about every 8-months, mainly because the Water-proofing would fail & the leather would also tear or rip. These Carhartt Boots show less than "half" of the wear-n-tear that the Timberland's would normally have at this age. The entire boot is still fully intact and "nothing" has become detached or loose. The soul is still firmly bonded to the boot without any failure anywhere! They also still remain exceptionally "Water-proof"! Virtually nothing has worn out on these Carhartt boots. The inner footliner has not flattened out or become hard, it's still comfortable! The only thing I've replaced was a pair of boot-laces last month! And the best thing... these are a lot less expensive than the Timberland's that I'm used buying! I will buy more of these!! Highly recommended !! UPDATE: On May 22, 2020 one of the boots finally leaked and got my foot wet. Am I upset... NO! These boots have outlasted every pair of Timberlands that I've "ever owned"! Outlast them by 7-8 months! The carhartt's are still very comfortable, there is no visible damage or tears in the materials, the souls are still very much intact, they just have a small leak now. A lot more than I can say for Timberland. I'll definately continue to buy Carhartt boots! ... show more

  • Handsome boots, UPDATE: lasted about 14 months. Will buy again.
Size: 11.5 Color: Wheat
For new boots these are comfortable right out of the box. They require a decent pair of socks as any work boot will. I like the weight of them with the composite toe vs the steel toe. I also like that I can do electrical work with another grounding path. Update 11/13/2022 They’ve broken in nicely after a few weeks of on and off use. There is a bit of fraying developing in the back on ankle portion of the boot but it’s not bad yet. Second Update 02/06/2024 I used these boots for heavy concrete and construction type work. They eventually got holes in the side from wear and although they are still usable they are no longer waterproof and need to be replaced. I think for the amount and type of work I used them for they were worth the purchase and I'll buy another pair. ... show more

  • Excellent, comfortable boots
Size: 13 Color: Wheat
These boots are amazing. They are unbelievable comfy and have excellent arch support. They almost feel like walking on air, I often forget I have boots on and not sneakers!! I work for FedEx Freight and our boots take a mad beating. These are hanging in like true champs!! If you know anything about handling Freight (things that REQUIRE the use of a forklift to move) and you know the rigors of the job, then you will know what I am talking about and can rest assured. Not sure what the people are talking about that say the boots rub in all the wrong places, but I guess that is what happens when you try to wear ankle socks with 6" boots and not crew socks like your supposed to!! I will be buying another pair just so I can have them when these finally need to be replaced. I highly recommend these boots for any working man or woman whose job requires boots, especially those with steel/composite toe. By the way, that has saved my toes more times than I can count with my job!!! ... show more

  • Terrible Quality
Size: 10 Wide Color: Wheat
Only 4 months old, not waterproof anymore, The toe is starting to separate from the boot, the laces are very annoying. I just expected a somewhat decent quality of a boot from Carhartt, but was absolutely was not
