I really like the previous generation of the Carhartt ultra thin shorts and hoped this new line would be very similar. They’re not. They are very comfortable and light. They’re very very stretchy though - to the point where I’d likely need to size down a size from what I usually get in Carhartt pants and shorts. I also didn’t like the fabric as much as the older model. The last bit was the price. The previous shorts ran $50-$55 at full retail - these new shorts were $70. Considering I like them less, and they seem less practical for my use, not a great value for my money. These were sent back after trying on. ... show more

To expensive for even carhartt. They are a thin quick dry fabric which is good but skinny legs my husband doesn't wear.
