These boots run a little long. I would probably go a half size down. Other than that they are an amazing boot. They brok in very quickly, are comfortable, and they kept my feet safe. I accidentally dropped a glass table top and it shattered at my feet. The boots saved me. And, only a small blemish to the durable leather.

I use to wear Diehard‘s and Red Wings when I had young feet now that I’m much older, I switch to Timberland PRO. Tried they’re moc toe wedge found the boot uncomfortable, very small shoebox/narrow even with wide size and one size larger. I had to return them. Then I tried Keen moc toe wedge, upper leather was very comfortable but the soles made the balls of my feet hurt after a day of work. Returned them. Tried out Carhart moc toe wedge, great boot, easy brake-in and comfortable on the feet when working long hours. One catch, the boot comes half a size larger than normal.

My husband loves these! Keeps his feet comfortable and well protected while he’s working his ass off. He said the most impressive thing about these boots was that when he got home from working all day in the heat, he removed his boots and his feet were completely dry and free of sweat. This is an honest review. I work in the construction trade and have bought $200 boots that were so uncomfortable they left a red mark on my foot. I returned them and bought a different $175 boots that I wore for a week and they made my feet sweat excessively, perhaps they were more for winter. I took a shot and spent $75 for these and I can tell you, literally the most comfortable boots I ever put on my feet, already broken in and fairly lightweight. Absolutely love these and nightly recommend them.

I got these boots after getting another pair from another manufacturer that were supposed to be better boots that didn’t fit my heel at all. These are much more comfortable you don’t slip in the heel like the other ones did. My coworker and friend has several pairs of these that he has worn in the past and seems to get some pretty good life out of them. Some of the reviews will talk about the souls wearing out, which I can’t speak to personally, but something should be kept in mind…These are anti-slip boots. So the rubber is not going to be a very hard rubber. Still, my friend got two years or more out of his working every day on the job so I’m not gonna complain. These things are very comfortable and take almost 0 break In. The lacing is pretty straightforward. There’s only one of those hook things on the very top and it is very nicely shaped so that it doesn’t wear out your laces like many of them do. I personally don’t cinch it up very tightly around the ankle because it does add a bit of pressure to that area for me at least. These are way more comfortable than all of the Red Wings I tried on. I just couldn’t find any Red Wings that I thought would work for me despite really wanting to have a pair. Nice thing about these boots is that they don’t have any heel on them so for ladder work, and walking rooftops and such they are much safer and you can kind of feel what you’re doing more. Perhaps right out of the box they feel a bit stiffer, but that very quickly goes away. I’m pretty happy with the purchase, for half a day‘s wages, I’m not going to begrudge anything. Well worth it in my opinion. Way better than those crappy cheap boots where the bottom peels off. I’ve had way too many of those. You’ll probably buy five or six pair of those in the time it takes one of these to wear out. Finally, I’ve been spraying them off with a water hose after working with concrete all day, and yes the waterproofing seems to be working. Weather appears to be holding up well so far and it’s nice and soft. Size wise I would order true to your foot. I started off going with a 13 and edit up ordering a size down. Actually mine is a Wide to accommodate my wide feet, and they do that nicely. Worst case scenario, you don’t like them, you can return them. It’s pretty simple to do, and I had to do that with my first pair because they were too big. So no worries there.

The moment I put these on I knew they were keepers. Fit true to size. Righted up the laces nice and snug. Little to no break in time. How long they hold up, tbd. Received these around July 20th, 2023. We’ll see how long they withstand the daily work beatings. Oh, and got immediate questions and compliments about them and where I purchased them.
