  • Pay for the comfort and quality.
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown
No break in time needed with these, they felt great right out of the box. I’ve only worn them for about 2 weeks now and work and so far they have held up great. They fit me good (pick the size you normally wear) and are very comfortable for long hours on your feet. It is a composite toe so lighter than a steel toe which I prefer. Haven’t had any issues with water getting in the boots from rain. Also, the material on the outside is very easy to clean. I plan on buying another pair once these get too beat up whenever that may be. I’ve had other boots and the past that were cheaper but I’d always end up changing the insoles and doing everything I could to get them to be comfortable and they would always make my feet sore and blistered after long hours. These are not like that. They are expensive but you are paying for quality. ... show more

  • Best boots I’ve ever bought!
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown
I have had these boots for almost 6 months now and they are still in great shape. I am Food Service Technician, so I don’t go easy on boots. Boots I’ve had in the past were in terrible shape at this point. The fitment is perfect, I ordered them with box toe and wide and they fit the shape of my feet. Arch support is spot on and feet and lower back feel good all day. The non-slip has prevented a lot of falls since I work on slippery floors more often than not. Boot feels light since it is composite toe. 10/10 would recommend if your are looking for durable, affordable boots. ... show more

  • Great Boot and Quality! But Beware: Runs Large
Size: 11 Color: Brown
Exactly what I was looking for in an electrical boot as not only is it certified up to 2018 code, but it looks and feels great too. There's nothing fancy about this boot, but that's not why we buy work boots anyway. This shoe is tough, rugged, comfortable, and has excellent grip on the soles. Everything I've come to expect from a Carhartt product. However, there were some minor issues while purchasing the boot. I actually had to purchase two pairs of the SAME boots before finding the right fit for this one. I've been a set 10.5/11 in boots and shoes since my body decided to give up on me and stop by growing at 6 feet tall (couldn't have just given me 2 more inches, could ya?). And never since then haven't had to wear a size 10 or 11 .5 in any shoe or boot. But with these specific boots, size 11 was absolutely enormous on my foot, and 10.5 wasn't any better. I now have a size 10, and to be honest it's still is a little large but not to the point where I feel it would be uncomfortable eventually. In fact, that little bit extra room will give plenty of space if I do need to double up on socks or wear a heavy sock. But be aware that these boots do run large and if you do not have a wider based foot it may feel as if there's too much room side to side as well. But, I've worn these boots for two days now and has not presented an issue even with feeling the extra space. All in all great boot though and considering I purchase the boot online and did not try it on in store I can't really complain about the size issue. The one issue I would mention though is that the shoe laces that come with it, although rugged, are pretty terrible at holding when you lace up. They may just need some more breaking in, but I have already bought new shoelaces that contour and hold to the boot much more firmly without slipping. Cheers! ... show more

  • Cathay Composite toe work boots 👍
Size: 11 Color: Brown
I live and work on my little farm, which is a treed farm. I am also a retired nuclear certified welder and retired state licensed electrician. A composite toe was the only answer for me. These boots are comfortable enough to be worn all day and stand up to all I dish out. Every thing from dropping and cutting trees, to welding, to doing electrical work. I came in from working all day and forgot I still had them on! Carhartt gets a big thumbs up from me! 👍 ... show more

They feel great on your feet

  • Cheap leather, poor build quality, not waterproof, uncomfortable. THESE BOOTS ARE NOT GOOD.
Size: 14 Color: Brown
These boots have to many problems for the cost. They take a LONG time to break in, probably two months before they felt halfway comfortable and even with being broken in they have cheap insides that will quickly shred away near the heels and they sides, by the pinkie toe but still on the foot portion. I work in a milk distribution warehouse and am on my feet all day. These are not rugged boots. Build quality is not up to that of a quality boot. The laces are mangled already and they used CHEAP leather! Who does that? The bend mark by the toes where the sole meets the leather is cracked badly, allowing cold air and liquid in. The leather chips off and looks like hell if your feet touch anything even remotely sharp or hard -in my case plastic milk crates. The lace rings are not sewn into the leather in a proportionate manner which leads to unequal pressure on different spots on the foot and around the ankle which combined with time and pressure (8-14 hour shifts) can leave some quite serious coloration and irritation of the skin. This was my first major boot purchase since some red wings I had for 10 years. I wore those down to the sole before i felt uncomfortable in them, purchasing these as a replacement. These have never been even close to comfy and they will not last nearly as long. In summation they're uncomfortable, never really get that broken in feeling, are manufactured poorly, are not waterproof, are not warm, and are made with a brittle leather. They also cause irritation to spots on the foot, ankle and top portion of the foot that I did not know could be possible simply by lacing up. Worst boots ever. ... show more
