Nice, clean looking. Interior is well organized. Comfortable to wear. Stands up on its own which is useful and makes it easy to find things with both hands free. I wish the top had some kind of velcro but the only way to secure it is with the zippers, which can be a pain, but overall very happy with this. Had a 3x-more-expensive Mission Workshop bag for 10+ years, and after 2 months this seems to be a good successor given the price.

First sort of Carhartt product I've used outside of a beanie hat someone gave me. It gives a rugged impression from the exterior but with a bit of a stylish edge. You're not gonna get away with stuffing everything you need for a weekend in here, but it's a great size for day to day use to and from work, a long hike, or even as a personal plane item. I was leaning towards the OD brown but ended up choosing the blue color as it was more practical for the day to day. Very nice and slick. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and zip up and down into place and stay where you put them. Has enough interior pockets to keep loose change, keys, portable HHD, and of course a laptop slot. The zippers work well but the configuration of the top took some getting used to as I grew up with backpacks that had the classic half circle design, whereas this is more of a lid top if that makes sense. Finally, this thing is definitely very water resistant. You can see rain drops bead and fall right off it. Would things survive if you dropped it in a river? No. But if you're caught in a thunderstorm and getting drenched you can rest assured everything in your backpack will stay dray and cozy.

I didn't even know that Carhartt made backpacks, let alone a laptop bag. This thing is super high quality, just like you would expect from a Carhartt jacket, but in a backpack for your laptop. The compartment layout is awesome for my needs. I can take my laptop, 2 tablets, phone, a water bottle, and a sweater in this bag with no issue. I used it in a light rain with no issues and have no doubt it will hold up to a heavier rain. I opted to try the steel blue color because it looked cool on screen and am really glad I did. It's sharp looking. Though, if you're a brand loyalist, the Carhartt brown one might be a fun choice. I'm psyched about this laptop bag. If you're a Carhartt fan, or just need a great laptop bag, I bet you would be too.

This carhartt backpack is well made and sturdy. It’s a very nice color and the inside is waterproof which is super nice. It’s my go to outting bag for the family and fits well on both my 6’2” husband and 10yo daughter.

I just got a 17" laptop for school as I'm working on a PhD and do TONS of writing. This bag fits my laptop, which is great since bags for large laptops can be hard to find. There's room leftover for snacks, notebooks, etc.

This backpack is slim, but it has a lot of room inside. You can easily fit a full-size laptop as well as everything else a student would need for a normal day on campus. I ordered this for my daughter, since she will need a larger backpack for school in the Fall than the one she was using this year. I love the fact that the fabric is water-repellent, so she won't have to worry about her things getting wet if she get caught outside in the rain. This is an expensive backpack, but I expect it to last for years because of how durable it is.
