The media could not be loaded. The straps are fine but the mounting hardware was not suitable for this install. The appear to be brass with very coarse threads. The first one I installed immediately stripped the threads without torquing it at all. The photo shows the stripped threads. The video shows that the threads are too coarse for this application and would not remain tight. Went to ACE hardware for new bolts, nuts and washers and the install was fine. You can use this product if you replace the hardware but I would not trust a boat or being safe using the included bolts and nuts. ... show more

These do the job. They don't always want to retract easily, but a quick tug gets them moving. When you compare the price on these with local stores, it's a no-brainer. I have only had them on for 3 months or so, but they have been good and tight every time I check them. The first trip was a 10 hour drive to South Florida and they held just fine. ... show more

The ratchet it self seem very well made and works great so far. But throw the mounting bolts away. Both of the nuts stripped out with very little torque. Bought new bolts and nuts to mount them
