Any questions I may have had when purchasing were set aside 100% when I opened the box. Even the packaging is well designed and over done in the best of ways. I had anticipated a much smaller magnetic cleaner, but am most pleasantly surprised, this baby is stout and so so very strong! Take care when you first set it up in your tank, it will POP together if you're not ready! It features a great brush section, easy to hold and manipulate outer section and slides across even my bowfront tank with ease. I am not sure I'll ever use them, but I'm also a fan of their inclusion of a carbon fibre style "razor blade" type attachment to allow one to scrap away even the most stubborn algae or gunk. I am barely able to pull this thing apart before I put it in the aquarium so I would definitely recommend very gently adding it to your glass because the magnet snaps together so quickly and the hold is so strong. It could definitely crack your tank if you were not careful so keep that in mind but it is easy to twist apart. But you can basically forget about just pulling it apart so I would very slowly slide this on through the top of your tank rather than connecting it inside. I'd and that should save you a lot of wackiness, but it works great. It's every nook and cranny and corner. And you can even use it at the 90°. Turn in each 4 corners so this is awesome. This magnetic cleaner has a super strong magnetic force. They are powerful enough to securely attach to the inside of my aquarium. The floating design is also convenient as it prevents the cleaner from sinking to the bottom of the tank. Using this magnetic cleaner is simple and straightforward. I just place the cleaning pad on the outside of the tank and move the magnetic handle on the outside to guide the cleaner on the inside. The two pieces of the cleaner stay firmly connected, allowing me to effortlessly glide the cleaner across the glass and remove any algae buildup. The size of the pad is suitable for my medium-sized fish tank, and it covers a good amount of surface area in one swipe. ... show more

If you have a really big tank and don't have any hardscape close to the glass this will work great for you. I have a 10-gallon and it's a little big for it, I can still use it on the front panel though. It's very effective at cleaning the green spot algae I sometimes get. I'm not convinced that the little scraper blade is super necessary but it certainly doesn't hurt. The magnets are super strong but they come off easily enough when you twist them as the instructions show. ... show more

This is a great aquarium scraper. The magnet is strong and the scrubber works well removing all the algae on the glass. The blade removed the hard water rings which my previous scraper could not do.
