    • Don't waste your money.......and time!
Don't waste your money.....and time. I purchases one of these and installed it on my truck. I'm a mechanic so I had all the tools and used the proper fluid. Easy off/on. After a week I figured I was good so I tossed the box and the old pump. Then a few days later the pump started to squirt out of the front seal. So now I had to send this piece of junk back, and pick one up locally and do it all again. So I was out a core to return to the local store and that cost me an additional $45. plus the fluid, plus all my time. Then I get an email from this company stating that at their discretion they could charge me a re-boxing fee, they may return the item back to me at no refund, or give a partial refund at their discretion.....after all my wasted time and money because of their poor rebuilding job, instead of an apology for sending me a defective junk 'remanufactured' unit. I should have listened to the other negative reviews and just gotten it locally. I thought mine would probably be OK. It would have been cheaper anyway had I just done that in the first place. ... show more

    • Perfect fit and did the job
Great part and fit well on my 2004 Dodge Ram1500 5.7L You absolutely need thepwr steering pulley removal/install kit to replace this pump. Removal is straightforward with the correct puller but re-installing the pulley on the new pump is a real challenge The fit is very very tight and absolutely need moly lube to prevent sticking while driving down the pulley with the installer tool. Work slowly and a little bit at a time, i went through a couple of bolts as they stripped the installer rod and make sure to thread into the pump as far as it will go to prevent it from pulling out and stripping the pump shaft threads. Make sure to get the pulley back to the same level as the original depth to make sure serpentine belt stays aligned. ... show more

    • Very reasonable pump easy to install
I have dropped a lot of these in my truck over the years. This one seems to be sticking and working well for me. The ease of installing this in the truck was great. I have a 2003 Dodge 1500 5.7 hemi 4x4 and this pump fit exactly into the holes for mounting. There are 3 lines with this pump. Two lines are the low pressure lines and one is the high pressure lines. I replaced both low pressure lines, since that is really easy to do. I would recommend doing that since any leaks will make you replace this pump way too soon. The high pressure is really torqued in and without heat, is hard to remove. The noise after is negligible when in operation. The hemi is loud anyway. ... show more

Do not purchase. Lasted just under a year and started whining and had zero steering at idle. Almost caused my wife a wreck.

    • It Fixed The Problem
The old pump was squealing like a pig running for its life and leaking like the Valdez tanker. This pump arrived well packaged. Looked to be solid and well constructed. After the installation, my truck is eerily quiet with no leaks. The only question that remains, How long will it last? As in all things, time will tell. ... show more

    • No good or bad luck?
I ordered one and it would not stop leaking wasted fluid had them resend a new 1 and and in less than a month it is already failing really loud And still have not received the rebate from November and this is now February and no response from the company update 5/22/22 failed and company won't back there product and past return window so I'm out money time and a truck till I buy new one ... show more
