It helps protect your leather seats from the car seat rubbing the same spot and damaging it, it also helps keep the dirt off the seats and making it easier to clean any mess. It has some rubber material on the side contacting your seats that would help keeping them in the same place you originally put the car seat. The product is great and very recommended, it has flaps going to both sides of the seat plus the flap that goes to the front has a pocket to keep items like books, clothes, toys or diapers (it's a small pocket, so not all those items at once). I really recommend getting this for your car if you have a car seat, your seats will remain clean and protected.

I recommend this to anyone looking to protect their car seats from spills and tears. I was very satisfied as it looked much nicer and much thicker than I expected. I purchased the twin pack since it wss a good price and gave yhe second one to my son for his vehicle. Since I was so happy with this purchase, I am going to buy the protectors for the back of the front seats so the kids don't scuff the back of the seats up and also they have pockets to put items in such as water bottle, toys etc.

Thinner then, expected. The part that goes between the back and bottom seat to hold the cover in place is narrow and short. Won’t actually hold it in place, unless you don’t move in your seat during the whole trip, LOL. Will work enough to keep the seat from getting too dirty with a child seat to hold it in place.
