This reel is outstanding for my trip, I bought it specifically for a big epinephelinaea trip out to the key west. Had an amazing fun time for sea fishing, this reel worked amazin, i want use this one to get super big fish , but i only get fishing around 50 pound, when fishing this reel never have a lick, the drag is very smooth, definitely tested in my trip and my fish, when i use heavy tackle and casting very easy, I highly recommend this one for a heavy duty reel capable of holding big or larger capacities of heavy pound line, never miss and the fish always came back to the boat, ... show more

So I have had this reel for a little over a year now and I must say it’s well worth the money. I have it paired with a goofish slow pitch jigging rod and it has done everything I could have expected. Caught numerous black fin tuna 20lb snapper large barracuda and a few large sharks on accident. The drag system is perfect just make sure you set it properly. Have mine set at 20lb drag. The speed at which you retrieve is great as well. It’s super easy to set up clean and holds up to everything I’ve throw at it so far. I hope I have this reel for a very long time in my ever growing arsenal of fishing tackle. Comes with a great warranty as well hitch is hard to find these days. ... show more

I bought this for a San Diego full day trip. We went out about three hours and ran into a school of dorado. I can’t my anchovy and got a great hit.
