The fleece lining feels soft and adds a good layer of insulation without being too thick or heavy. I wore it under jeans and a hoodie on a chilly morning walk, and it kept me comfortably warm without overheating once I was moving around. The material has just enough stretch to allow easy movement, and the fit feels true to size for an XL—snug but not restrictive. What I especially like is that the set is lightweight yet traps warmth well, so it doesn’t feel like I’m bundled up. The fabric also seems to wick away sweat decently, which helps keep things comfortable if you’re active outdoors. After a wash cycle, it held its shape and softness, no pilling or shrinking noted. Something to keep in mind is that while this works great as a base layer, it’s not intended to be worn on its own in really cold temps—you’ll still want an outer layer. Also, the top is a bit longer, which helps keep it tucked in but may feel extra for some. Bottom line: A reliable, comfortable, and warm thermal set that’s perfect as a base layer for cold weather activities or just keeping cozy indoors.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my husband, we had our anniversary trip to Colorado and it was snowing pretty hard! He mentioned that it was comfortable and that it’s not hard to slip on, it kept him warm throughout the cold weather and it was easy to layer. I think that it’s a pretty good fit and it’s thin enough to put under thicker clothes for winter time! He wore it under this thick winter jacket and it was perfect!
