Well, given that even some of the larger and lasting names such as Craftsman and now made overseas, it's no easy task to find good tools made in the USA that are affordable to regular guys like me who are not in a trade. Since Craftsman betrayed us all but moving to production China, I will not buy any of their new stuff. I could not find any preowned older Craftsman Allen sockets in the time frame I needed, so I opted for this set based on the reviews. I used the one size I needed one time. It fit fine and feels good in the hand. The case is very nice, but about 1/4" too tall to fit in the same drawer and the other hex keys I have. Overall this is a nice set of hex sockets and I would buy again. For the limited use they will see, they will suit me just fine. ... show more

Comes in a nice blue plastic case with indents cut out to size for each piece and the sizes marked in relief, with a foam sheet in the lid to keep the pieces from rattling. The pieces look well made with no sign of cheap material or rough workmanship. Just used the 10mm to remove the transmission and differential drain plugs in my car -- both of these haven't been disturbed in years and the differential plug was especially frozen solid. Had to brace against something and put both arms on a long torque wrench to break that open, which finally gave up with a loud pop like a gun shot. Cleaned up the bit afterwards, and there's not the slightest sign of wear or damage. I'm very happy with it -- with proper cleaning and care these will serve well for many a long years. My only gripe: there are no handle / strap / loop / hole to tie a rope in anywhere on the case, which prevents me from hanging it up on the peg board where it belongs! An annoying oversight. This is my 2nd set of Capri hex sockets. The finish on these is flawless, the case is nice, the sizes are physically stamped into the tool and not just painted on, the square drive end is formed well and works well with both ball detents and friction rings, the set includes a 5.5, 7, and 9mm socket so if you're the 1 in 100 who uses those you're covered, and they're even made somewhere that isn't China (Taiwan in this case). There's not a thing wrong with these sockets. Would buy again. ... show more
