The Capri Tools 3/8 in. Drive Semi-Deep Impact Socket Set is a collection of most frequently used 3/8 in. drive semi-deep impact sockets in metric sizes. We use premium Chrome Molybdenum steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to make these impact sockets and accessories. They are durable and specifically made to withstand high torque from power tools. Each item is expertly coated with manganese phosphate, the preferred coating in military and aerospace, which offers superior protection and corrosion resistance compared to black oxide coating on other impact sockets. The 6-point WaveDrive design grips fasteners more tightly than traditional design, preventing fastener rounding and giving you more leverage. Meets and exceeds ASME B107.110 standards. 15-piece set 3/8 in. drive semi-deep impact sockets: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 mm.

The Capri socket sets are great and definitely price friendly. I bought this set to complete the 3/8" set because I already had the deep and semi deep. I have their full 1/2" set and one great thing is not only are they CrMo with a lifetime guarantee, there are no skips in sizes. Someone else might be able to comment if impact sockets made out of Chrome Vanadium are more prone to breaking but one of the sets I was actually going to buy, only made their bigger sockets out of CrMo so I just went with Capri. ... show more

    • Olsa Aluminum Socket Rails might be more impressive than Ernst/Tekton equivalents
Very impressive. I own hundreds of sockets and finally took the time to sort them. Next I wanted a better way to organize my primary sets. I started with older Craftsman rails I had and then went to Harbor Freight. What got me moving was I bought latest M12 Fuel 3/8” Stubby Wrench and there was Home Depot special on beautiful 14pc Milwaukee 3/8 drive 6 point metric impact sockets that came on black metal socket rail. Somehow I had difficulty removing these impact sockets from black Milwaukee metal rail but no problem using that rail for 3/8” chrome non impact sockets. So I also ordered & bought Ernst/Tekton socket rails from Home Depot and the beautiful Milwaukee metric sockets fit & easily removed well on Red 18” Ernst/Tekton socket rail. I had thought the Milwaukee clips were interchangeable with Olsa Tool rail clips BUT THEY ARE NOT. Now after receiving this beautiful Olsa Tool blue aluminum socket rail that fit my 1/2” chrome non impact sockets well I need to think again and revisit my choices between Ernst/Tekton socket rails<= definitely for black impact sockets ... show more

Don't let the low price turn you away. Great impact socket set that goes all the way up to 22mm (I would swap out the 20mm for a 24mm). Very thin walls for a impact socket but hold just fine. Great for a beginner set to cover chrome as well since they are so thin walled. Semi deep as well as deep well sockets are great as well. Similar to Sunnex and Tekton sockets. Although there are no skips, I haven't found a use for 9, 20mm sockets in my 27 year career. Still a great buy ... show more
