It is 4oz heavier than my snap on deadblow ballpen but it packed so much more power and almost no bounce back. I just drove out 4 king pins in 20 minutes when it used to take me an hour or better. It's a nice hammer and I look forward to using it but I do wish the handle was about 1-1/2" longer and a little bit bigger or some kind of rubberized grip. That being said, it's obviously a quality tool and I'm sure it'll last a long time.

What else is there to say. It's I big hammer and I use it to knock stubborn wheels off cars and trucks. Only complaint is that the handle is a little slippery so a little hockey tape goes a long way. Other than that it's up to the hands swinging it.

I bought the 12 lb and standing next to it is a harbor freight 4 lb for comparison. Works great for beating ddg’s out of the hopper. I’ve only used it a few times so this is not a long term review. This thing is perfect for seating bearings and races, or moving pinions and gears lightly into place. You don’t have to swing hard, and the face is milled so you don’t scar anything up. Very happy with this purchase.
