As others have noted, not all pieces fit together perfectly, but fit well enough to make an effective workout pad to deaden sound, protect flooring, and provide cushioning for yourself while doing floor exercises, like sit-ups, crunches, push-ups, and stretching. We are making a gym room in our house. We used these mats for the flooring. They are easy to install. You can easily cut the mats for a custom fit and they are very comfortable to walk on without shoes. I can't wait to see the finished room!

I’ve purchased similar mats from another manufacturer that was doubled the price. Even though the patterns are similar, the edges do not match. Other than the edges, the major difference between these mats and ones twice the cost is the attention to detail. The patterns on these mats are off (they actually veer off on a diagonal instead of being straight). If you don’t care about the crooked pattern, then these mats will work for you. ... show more

Tiles were easy to assemble and look good. Some don't quite fit perfectly, but for the money you can't complain. Seem to be holding up well under use (free weights on and off them). Would buy again.

There's not much good about these. I'll be adding pictures when I can. Colors between packages can vary tremendously. The first 6 packages (of 6 tiles each) was darker than I expected, but I figured whatever, it's a basement workout room. But the next 6 packages were EVEN DARKER! Basically black. Some of the pieces have very noticeable streaks (like they were running out of color additive while making it). They are ugly. The pieces don't fit together well. I figure after a few months of using them they will wear in and be fine but they either have no quality control or have set their tolerances so wide they might as well not. There aren't enough "straight" edges. If you are making a section bigger than about 40 tiles, you will have to cut the edging to make it work. Not the worst problem but after all the other issues it just puts the nail in the coffin. I had previously used the Sivan Health and Fitness Puzzle Exercise Mat and wish I had stuck with that brand. But I went for the slightly cheaper Cap Barbell Mat and regret it. ... show more
