I really like this bar. It is heavy duty and has good texture for griping. You can’t beat it for the price. It is a great addition to a home gym. Especially if you prefer these to squats or standard deadlifts. I use it for deadlifts, farmers walks, and shrugs.

This is a really solid trap bar. Great weight, but also compact, which is what I wanted. Super sturdy and the handles are aligned right. It came with plastic end caps, but I had no trouble pulling these off. My only complaint is the knurling. Usually I find aggressive knurling to be a good thing, but this is almost like sandpaper. Really hard on the hands if you’re doing deadlifts with heavy weight. And then if you’re using straps, it’s really difficult to get them tight around the bar because there’s so much friction with the knurling that you can’t pull the straps tight. I had to buy some wrist wraps with weightlifting hooks because of this. Otherwise a great bar. ... show more

Just got the trap bar with combo grip this morning. So far so good. Bought the CAP budget plates to go with it and I'm happy with the result. The knurling on this trap bar is a little extreme fresh out the box. A few sets in and my hands are already tearing apart but anyone that lifts knows it's worth it. The black coating is nice, already had a ding in it from the delivery but I assume that was shipping error more than anything. As you can see from the photos next to my German shepherd, it's pretty big but about as space efficient as can be. I got this in my studio apartment with my two dogs and home office so being able to get some reps in throughout the day is perfect and doesn't take up too much space. Also the neutral grip is the way to go if anyone is wondering. Much more effective workout with neutral hand grip if you focus on your form. Happy with the purchase. ... show more

This bar is heavy and seems to be well made. All one piece. 2 grip options. I think I’m going to really like it. Plenty of room inside as well(at least for me it is). The price is outstanding for this bar. I can’t fathom anyone paying 300+ for a bar when u can get this for under $70.

I give it 5 stars for the hex bar but a bad rating for the delivery subs packaging. It arrived in styrofoam that was completely broken apart. Why are we still using this horrible for the environment product?! I have ordered a lot of gym items and this is the first styrofoam packed one. It literally was shredded. What a pain in the ass!! My husband took photos after I put the shredded styrofoam in 3 hefty bags. It was everywhere. My Dyson did a great job picking it up. 5 stars for Dyson! ... show more
