  • Perfectly compact!
Color: Carbon
The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what I’d hoped for: a sturdy, neat, space-saving means of organizing dumbbells. I’m not a master-assembler, so though it took me about 45 minutes, it might take others less time. It’s very stable and compact. I saw on a couple of reviews that the “bolts didn’t tighten.” The stand comes with an Allen wrench. You’ll need to have a set of pliers, vise grip, or small adjustable wrench to hold the nuts steady as you tighten the bolts with the provided Allen wrench. I found it to be incredibly quick and easy. I’ll be adding a couple more pairs of dumbbells and it will be nice to be able to do that without taking up any additional floor space. ... show more

  • Do you like to huff glue? Then this is the right product for you!
Color: Carbon
When the package first arrived we set it in my entry room and then spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what smelled like warm rotten eggs doused in gasoline in the house until we were able to track it back to the package. I went ahead and put it together thinking that the smell would dissipate after awhile but letting it sit in my garage for a week did nothing to lessen it at all. I then removed the rubber cradle protectors and was able to figure out that it was the glue that smelled so awful. I soaked them in a bucket of water and then used goof off to remove the glue from the metal but it still smelled. I then used oven cleaner which got the glue off but also damaged the paint. After soaking the plastic in water for a week I pulled them out and they still smelled like death's armpit. I finally went and bought some acetone and found that removed most of the chemical funk odor from them, they did start to dissolve themselves if you left them in too long. I spray painted the metal black and put the plastic protectors back on and then had a useable barbell rack simply one month and $20 later. The spacing is pretty close together though. Would not recommend unless you are looking for a project or are a sadist or have had your sense of smell deadened somehow. ... show more

  • Cheap, sturdy and compact. Limited dumbbell size.
Color: Carbon
Simple assembly. Compact. But if you are purchasing it to use with Fitness Gear Rubber Hex Dumbbells, be aware that it will only hold 5s through 25s, and even then, the 25s still tend to get hung up on the 20s when removing from and replacing on the stand. So for example, if you have 25s, 30s, and 35s, you will have to skip a space between each set, and will only get three sets on the stand. Take a look at the photo. ... show more

  • Organizing and Easy Access
Color: Carbon
Excellent product. I use mine to hold 3,5,8,10, and 12 lb weights. The curved top holds my 8 lb medicine ball perfectly without worry of it falling. In the space underneath I store my bigger weights, plus ankle weights and weighted gloves. Keeps everything all together. Not only does this keep my cast iron hex weights organized, it convenient to remove and replace quickly during workout outs. Admittedly before I purchased this, I had passed on several workouts just because I was to lazy to drag everything out. This fits neatly in a corner of my bedroom because that it where I workout and is not an eyesore by any means and much better than having them just laying on the floor to stub a toe on. This was very easy to put together and is very sturdy and has held up through the test of time. There was an oily smell when first taken it out, however I would expect that from most metal product. This smell disipated quickly and after washing it down with soapy water and drying with a towel. I highly recommend this for anyone who is limited on space and looking to make there workout area neat and organized and have quick access. Please ignore the color of my weights. I've had them for 10 years of more :) If my review helped you, please click the helpful button. Or comment if I can answer any other questions <3 ... show more

  • Love it. No problems here - Works great!
Color: Carbon
Rack works great. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this rack after reading reviews about spacing issues between weights and smell issues (non-issue) posted here. I've attached a photo showing this with 8-12-15-25-35lb Hex Weights stacked. The only issue in this configuration is the spacing between the 25-35lb weights, however, the description states Maximum 25lb. 35lb works, it just is a little tight and just need to be pulled straight out. It's always possible other's weights are different dimensions, but it works fine with the weights we have purchased at various national sporting/discount chain stores. ... show more

  • No smell!!! Works perfect (for light weights) IMHO...
Color: Carbon
So the good news is there was NO SMELL/ORDER imitating from the item OR the packaging. I did leave it in the garage after I open up the box, I laid all the parts out, I didn't notice an order but wanted to air it out JIC. I brought the parts in later this evening...still no presence of any oder whatsoever. Assembly was straight forward and took about 10 minutes. I use this small rack ONLY for 5lb, 8lb, 10lb, 12lb & 15lb dumbbells. As the weights are light, the narrow(ness) of the stand isn't an issue for me grabbing the weights with 2-3 fingers! For the price...I gotta give it 5 STARS! Glad I pulled the trigger on this. ... show more

  • Gas mask and gloves required
Color: Carbon
I've never written a review because I've been pleased with just about everything I've purchased on Amazon and only rated them. The one positive about this item is that it caused me to write my first review. I've had the rack about a week and haven't put it together so I can't comment on the most important aspect of the product. The reason is being is that I opened the package and noticed a smell. I'd read other reviews about the product and how it smelled, but thought it would dissipate. I put it in the garage completely unpacked. After a day my garage smelled like a car fire/chemical spill of some sort and glad I didn't assemble it right a way and leave it in my house. So I took it outside and washed the main parts with dish soap and hot water, letting it dry in the sun. Still haven't got the smell out and I'm beginning to think it is something ingrained in the metal or coating, not just a topical thing. The instructions that were in the package smell and after handling the parts my hands stink after several washings. So instead of a weight rack I have an unassembled, metal stink bomb😡 ... show more
