  • Great Product
Color: black
Easy assembly. Stable, great value, flexible use. Would recommend to others.

  • PERFECT!
Color: red
Easy to assemble. Just follow the instructions. I used my ratchet wrench. Much easier. Make sure when putting the feet on each side , Part A , that the large hole toward end is in the rear (Part B). That is where the part “rod” goes that holds plate weights. I did that backward causing some extra time. The black fixed nut on Part J , the main side pipes that hold your bars should face the front. This is super sturdy. Im a 56 yr old female and did all myself. So, not difficult. It did take me about an hour and a half after unboxing and sorting parts because of a couple re-dos and I take my time. Holds both the barbell and curl bars no problem. Also I love that the bottom support bar is adjustable using a screw in knob/pin. I needed a narrow setting as my curl bar is 47 inches. Barbell is 7 feet and it works fine. Nothing negative about this rack! If you want gym quality and lift a bazillion pounds go to a gym! And I do. But this is perfect for home workouts. ... show more

  • Good, but could be slightly better
Color: red
Does the trick, but be aware that you must place weights on the rack holders to keep this item from moving around while you are lifting.

  • Great Rack!!!
Color: black
This squat rack was a great addition to my small home gym. What sets it apart from others is that it has an adjustable width, which is great for smaller spaces. I believe it to be the best rack out there (of the very few) with adjustable width. I have it in my basement gym and it is perfect for lower ceilings. I generally don’t put up more than 200 on a squat or a bench press, but I’ve found it to be steady in both instances. Works well with both Olympic and standard bars. Note that there is a holder for weight plates at bottom of both legs. I usually leave a 25lbs plate on each side to ensure stability—it’s not necessary but it gives me peace of mind. The only shortcoming is that for me there are limitations to the bench press options. I am 5’10 with average length arms and I can only do flat benches—no incline or decline, due to the construction of the rack. Overall though, this is a great piece and I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Can't Get a Replacement Part
Color: red
Bottom Line Up Front: Quality - Good Satisfied with Product - Yes Satisfied with Manufacturer (CANPA) - No Major Flaw (2) 1 - No way to contact manufacturer AT ALL (even though they say to contact them with questions) 2 - There is NO WAY TO REPLACE MISSING OR DEFECTIVE PARTS - YOU HAVE REPLACE TO WHOLE UNIT Did Amazon make it right? Yes, but I have to rebuild the whole thing again Details: I bought this squat rack last week, and it was delivered today. I spent several days comparing multiple ones. I wanted a standalone rack as I already had a pretty decent bench. Based upon my research this was a great rack at a good price point. I put it together tonight after work. The packaging was all sound, intact, and everything was well protected. It took me about 90 minutes to put it together by myself. I could have done it faster with another person - it wasn't hard or heavy, it just would have been nice to have a second set of hand to hold pieces in place until they could be joined or tightened. But it was fine. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, and this wasn't my first rodeo. The instructions were clearly written by somebody other than a native English speaker but I was pretty sure when I bought the rack it was probably coming from somewhere in Asia - most likely China. The only suggestion I would make when putting it together is to use your own tools. You only need two wrenches, which they provide - but they are cheap and undersized. They provide two wrenches, both are identical and each has a 14 MM head and a 17 MM head. I don't know what the 14 MM is used for - I couldn't find a corresponding part. All bolt heads were 17 MM. Do yourself a favor - use a 17 MM socket with your own 17 MM wrench for counter torque - things will go a lot faster. Overall I'm happy with the rack. It looks and works as advertised. It is sturdy and stable. I have no quality concerns at all. I'm PO'd at the manufacturer - because there is NO WAY to contact them. There are two parts in there called dip handles (to do dips). Unfortunately, the dip handles serve as a point of stability to control vertical rise between the 'expansion pipe' and the 'main frame'. Expansion pipe goes in the main frame, and they get secured in place via a knob bolt and the dip handle. Here's the problem - the dip handle is female threaded and accepts a bolt. There are two bolt sizes. They differ only in shank length - the shank diameter and bolt head are identical between both bolt sizes. The instructions in my opinion do not do a clear job (and the print is really small) differentiating which bolt to use (and this is the only place the smaller bolts are used). I grabbed the longer one, when it should have been the shorter. Look, I said I'm mechanically inclined, and this is a no brainer, but it was really small print and the drawing showed it (in my opinion) in the same scale. I was able to install the dip handles with the longer bolt and I didn't realize there was a problem until 1) I realized there was play in what should have been a tight fit and 2) I was two long bolts short someplace else I needed them. I was able to back out the one long bolt from the dip handle, replacing it with a short one (which eliminated the play), but with the other dip handle the threads stripped. I figured this would not be an issue - I would cut the bolt out with a dremel and contact the manufacturer and just get a replacement dip handle. After all, the instructions clearly said - and I quote - "If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us." I figured I would call CANPA and have them send me the new dip handle - hell I would have been ok paying for it. Good luck. There is absolutely NO WAY to contact these guys. They only have a website accessible only through Amazon, and there is nothing - nada, zero, zip, zilch - NO WAY to reach out to them. Couldn't find anything outside Amazon (i.e. Google) either. So I was forced to call Amazon, because trying to self-service this thing only gave me the option to return it. It's already assembled. When I finally got through to the Amazon person, they informed me there is NO WAY TO ORDER OR REPLACE a missing or defective part. The only recourse is for a complete refund (which does me no good, I NEED THE PART) or they will ship you a whole other, brand new squat rack for free. Which they are doing. Here's the rub - they need the old one back. Which means when the new one comes, I can't even just grab the part I need from the box - I have to send back the FULLY ASSEMBLED RACK. Which means UPS has to pick up a fully assembled rack. Have fun guys. Gonna be a blast throwing that in the back of the truck. But here's why I am really PO'd - I have to put the whole freaking thing together again. It's needless aggravation and quite honestly a huge waste - they are deep-sixing the whole unit for the sake of one lousy part. I mean - who doesn't offer the ability to get spare parts? Bright side is - I now know not to use the big bolts on the dip handles. Thanks for reading. Hopefully it will save Future User some aggravation. ... show more

  • Can't understand any negative reviews-this rack is great!
Color: red
Let me start by saying I tried several other squat racks before I finally got this one. All the others were horrible! They arrived damaged, defective, and in terrible condition. I kept returning each one and trying others. I had just about given up before I decided to try this one. First of all, the item was packaged beautifully; everything was in protective wrap and laid out nicely in the box. All the others that I had tried, the pieces were packaged without any protection - it looked like all the parts were just thrown into the box, and everything was scratched and damaged and in really bad condition. Secondly, this one was easy to put together and once it was done, I was really impressed. It's stable and seems to be very well made and it is very easy to adjust settings as needed. I am very pleased with this product so far and I don't see any reason why my opinion will change, but if it does, I will update this review. ... show more

  • Glad I bought this!
Color: red
Was looking for a cheap squat rack for my home gym and this fit the bill perfectly! It's very sturdy and I have it on carpet. I put some dumbbells on the back legs and it doesn't move when I rack up the other side. Don't let the price fool you, the quality is great, and was very easy to put together. I use it every day and have had no problems whatsoever. ... show more
