  • Excellent.
My previous Pro 10 worked tirelessly for a long 5 years until it left me. When she rested, I knelt down and thanked her for such a good job. Now I bought another Pro 10 and I hope it works as well and tirelessly for another 5 years. This printer is great.

  • Defective Upon Installation - Error Code 6700
Bought to replace a previous Pro-10 which finally gave up the ghost after 5 years. Box arrived in good shape ahead of schedule. Upon installation, print heads would not align, printer would not come online. Canon's tech support phones and website are down, so they were no help. Upon trying to bring the printer online with a test page, it returned Error Code 6700. Only fix in the manual was to remove/apply power. Unsuccessful. Bummed, as I really love (and need) this printer. ... show more

  • Great printer
Flawless prints, not a Canon authorized dealer though, so Canon won't exchange it or anything. The printer is big, as it should be really to print at that size with the level of quality it's capable of producing.

  • SO far so good
I use to swear by Epson. Until this last time were it failed me BIG.... HUGE! EPSON is the worse for cloggs in the industry.. HELLLLO CANON Pro-10. I wanted a large format printer that was 3rd party ink friendly. It has been a dream so far. After tweaking it to the point where I can get output. I have NOT run out my first OEM inks yet to use my 3rd party inks yet. ALSO this is HUGE HUGE HUGE!! The Ink jet print head can be removed for cleaning out CLOGS and or replaced That can never be done with EPSON But I did twice. EPSON gets clogs so hard its ridiculous! While CANON is making newer printers that are 3rd party ink friendly EPSON has gone INSANE making sure their new printers can not use them YOU DO THE MATH ... show more

  • Dead. Not even 4 months in.
Great printer when it worked. After 3 month the printer refuses to turn on and tech support does not seem to help. Very upset and would not recommend you put out for expensive printer to crap out on you within its first year.

  • Canon's own rep said this printer is "crap."
I've had this printer less than 2 years and it's been nothing but trouble. Clogged printheads, massive ink consumption and finally total breakdown. I'm a professional photographer and I talked to the Canon reps at WPPI (an industry trade show) and they said (off the record) the printer is "crap" and that it has been nothing but trouble for Canon and it's users. When I called Canon tech support they tried to fix the problem remotely and had no luck. They said that they're showing that my printer head is not functioning properly and it would need to be replaced. Being out of warranty they didn't advise it since the replacement cost would be less than the repair. They offered no help except to say I could buy a new one at a discount since it was a replacement for my current unit. The discount turned out to be 10% off the list price and more expensive still than I could buy from retailers. They didn't deny that the printer was more problematic than other printers. I will never buy another Canon product even though I love their cameras and have owned them in the past. DON'T BUY THIS PRINTER (OR ANY CANON PRINTER)! ... show more
