I was anxious to buy this renewed from Amazon. I wasn't sure what kind of quality I was going to receive but I am so happy to report that is great without any damage! Yes, it said renewed but you never know with Amazon lol. Anyway, the quality is amazing! I haven't had any issues but it overheated at a 97-degree wedding. Luckily, it didn't overheat until after the ceremony was over but it stopped working for the rest of the night. It has only done it that one time and hasn't since. I definitely recommend this! I came from a 5D Mark IV and my second body was a 5D Mark II. The learning curve wasn't bad at all. I obviously noticed a massive difference from the Mark II but the difference in the speed with the Mark IV was surprising. I didn't notice it until I went back to shooting with my Mark IV on the overheated wedding. It is a great camera! If you have the budget to go for the R6 II, do that, but I think this is just as fabulous. The first photo of the flowers is from the wedding where it overheated.     • Excellent... if not the best camera for the wedding business.
The Cannon R6 is ideal for wedding videos; especially after the recent software update performs near godlike compared to other DSLR’s. It out performs the R5 in higher ISO low light situations... example being those crummy low lit ball rooms, gone is that crappy DJ up lighting rolling shutter effect, and the R6 has stunning face and eyeball tracking. 120fps at 1080p and shoots 4K like a total beast. The camera is what I coin as “canon dependable”, it will always work, it will never fail, it is unrelentingly reliable, it has never overheated or failed on me since the software update. I have shot with Sony’s, Nikons, and Fuji’s... this R6 is so incredible I purchased two. The autofocus works with even when using Ef to R mount adapters. In my line of work you need dependability and quality, something light weight to run and gun. This camera is the terminator of cameras. Exactly as described. Only thing they forgot to do was reset camera name. Old owner’s name popped up when I connected to canon app. Otherwise it was like new.

    • Poor quality, and wasn’t refunded
It was too grainy. I have the same exact body, which I’ve used a lot, and the refurbished body was grainier than my used body. They wouldn’t refund me fully, either, because they said I used the body, but how was I to know the item wasn’t great until I’d used it? It looked in good condition otherwise. Instead I got charged a 50% restocking fee, and was told I couldn’t dispute it because I didn’t return it in time. I did, and I have proof of drop off before the drop off date. I lost hundreds of dollars. Had it been a good quality item, I was planning on keeping and using it for years. It would’ve been a good price had it matched in described quality. I will never ever, ever buy something like this from this company again. Please save yourself the risk. ... show more

This was refurbished, which means it should act like a new camera and it does. Great photos sharp and clear. Easy to use, similar to the EOS cameras that I'm used to. Thank you for a great purchase. I would buy from this seller again.
