Canon R6 Mark II: A Photographic Powerhouse with Incredible Focus Tracking
Style: Body Only
Set: Body
The Canon R6 Mark II is my second purchase of this incredible camera model, and I absolutely love it. As a professional photographer, I’ve used a wide range of cameras over the years, and the R6 Mark II stands out as one of the best for capturing stunning photos with ease and precision. One of the most impressive features of this camera is its focus tracking. It’s nothing short of amazing how accurately and quickly it locks onto subjects, even those in motion. Whether I’m photographing wildlife, sports, or portraits, the focus tracking never fails to deliver sharp and clear images. This capability has elevated my photography to a whole new level, allowing me to capture moments with incredible detail and clarity. The R6 Mark II also offers excellent low-light performance, thanks to its high ISO sensitivity and advanced image stabilization. I’ve been able to shoot in challenging lighting conditions without compromising image quality, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves shooting at night or indoors. Additionally, the camera’s ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to operate, even during long shooting sessions. The menu system is intuitive, and the touchscreen display is a pleasure to use. Overall, the Canon R6 Mark II has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a reliable, high-performance camera that’s perfect for both amateur and professional photographers alike. Whether you’re upgrading from another model or looking for a powerful camera to start your photography journey, the R6 Mark II is a fantastic choice that won’t disappoint.

Camera's Technology-Enabled Capability Is Astonishing
Style: Body Only
Set: Body
The Canon R6 Mark ii was my upgrade from a Canon 5D Mark iii (circa 2012). I've had it for a few days and need to familiarize myself with more of its features. It is much smaller and lighter than my old camera. This camera makes it easy to navigate the menus via the dials and buttons. The autofocus is fast and flexible. The exposures for the shooting modes I've used (Av, Tv, and Manual) are very good. The mirrorless rate of image capture is jaw-dropping. No doubt there are faster cameras, but this is something compared with my old one. The photos were all hand-held, illustrating the image stabilization and exposure capability of the camera. I'm happy with the purchase and am eager to spend more time using this camera.

I stand by its performance and reliability. I use this camera for my wedding photography business. The image quality is exceptional, capturing every detail and emotion of the special day. It never fails to impress my clients and delivers stunning photographs that they will cherish forever. The camera's fast autofocus and high-speed continuous shooting ensure that I never miss a perfect shot, even during fast-paced moments like the exchange of vows or the first dance. Its durability and dependability make it the perfect companion for capturing unforgettable moments.

Great Hybrid Prosumer camera with lots of features
Style: Body Only
Set: Body
9 years in photography, mostly weddings and portraits and graduation. I shot with a 5D Mark IV for the last 6-7 years. It's a great camera but when mirrorless technology came I wanted to move forward eventually. However Canon wasn't nearly stepping up until the past two years. The R5 was a little out of my budget and EOS-R had only one SD card slot (wtf Canon, one slot?!). The R6 Mark 2 fit between the two. The original R6 lacked a decent amount of megapixels but when the R6 Mark 2 released, with the nearly 25MP I was content with that. I finally took this one out to a few events and a few portrait shoots. Pros: -Face detection, pet detection, vehicle detection, all types of detection for AF. -Extremely fast shooting speeds (great for sports photography) - 6K video and long filming times (longer than my 5D MK4) -Great low light performance, outshines my 5D -Numerous extra features which make taking photos so much more pleasant Cons: -AF can get confused sometimes (I was at an event and it was wanting to focus on a flag on the wall even with People AF selected, huh?). -Not the camera, but CANON PLEASE LET 3RD PARTY COMPANIES MAKE RF LENSES

I love this camera!
Style: Body Only
Set: Body
I've been using this camera a little over a year, so far for photos only, no video yet. And I love it! I use this camera with Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 is USM Zoom Lens & Canon RF100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM lens. I've been taking photos for over 20 years, previously with a Canon DSLR & this is the first time I feel like I'm learning something about how the camera works. Being able to look through the viewfinder & make changes to my settings & actually seeing how it will affect the photo is making it click in my brain! I shoot lots of hummingbirds so the high speed shooting is terrific. I shoot the hummingbirds handheld & they are still high quality & clear. Eye detection even works on these tiny birds! I also shoot lots of photos of my dogs & the subject detection & being able to focus on their eye(s) is invaluable! I've also used it for family self portraits with a remote & on a tripod. The photos included dogs & shooting high speed continuous with the remote was still possible. I got some irreplaceable, wonderful photos this way! Switching to mirrorless was worth it. If you've been holding off, I would highly recommend doing it.
