Was expecting scratches, blemishes, mess haps, and anything else wrong... Nope. If you told me this was a brand new Canon 70D you'd have fooled me once i opened it. Good packaging, everything wrapped perfecty inside, comes with all original manuals, instructions, and guide and set up discs.. Comes with the 18-55mm lens, the strap, battery, charger and connection cord for the laptop/computer.. Focusing works erfect, no dead pixels, battery lasts.. Accepts the memory card without any problems. All settings work. I found zeri scratches, zero blemishes, zero distress rubs.. Nothing. Like i said. Save youself the extra $400-$600 and get yourself this. You'll only be doing yourself a favor.... My YouTube is "RobAndAdri" If you'd like to see it.. Audio sucks because i used the rode videomic go and i need to change that. ... show more

    • Defective
The charger for the battery did not work and the owners manual was missing along with the strap. Told to return it and was charged a restocking fee of 15%. I think when you’re told to send it back you shouldn’t be charged a restocking fee.

    • Decent cameara but lacks many things.
I have samsung nx500 before 70d. Image quality and sharpness are visibly better when I'm using nx500. It has timelapse function and bulb shutter and charging when shooting. 1080p 60fps 720p 120fps and many thing that I took granted. Canon lacks all of that feature. What Canon 70d better is wide lens collection and external mic jack. I found Autofocus of 70d is slightly better than nx500. ... show more

I really like the features in this camera. My older 60D wasn't anything like this. I use the 70D as an Astrophotography camera (connected to my telescope) as well for the Sun (with a solar filter), the Moon and stars. The touch screen is fabulous! I took a photo of the double star Mizar (in the handle of the Big Dipper). Without zooming in, it didn't look like a double star, but when I zoomed in (using the touch screen, of course) the double star was there. ... show more

This is a great camera has the flip out screen awesome video functions and is super easy to use. That said after a very short time the camera developed issues that caused the video to freeze and eventually the camera stopped working. It is less than 2 years old and is dead. Some research has led me to believe that the PCB has died bummer. I cannot suggest buying such an expensive item that many people have had fail so quickly. As the cameras age the reports are now popping up daily.. shame on you cannon . ... show more

I was skeptical about the whole refurbished business but I trusted Amazon and I'm glad I did. I swear this camera must be new. Not a scratch. Works like a dream. The 70D is amazing at pulling focus and for a one man crew that is a life saver. Still can't get canon connect (wifi) to work but eh, I didn't purchase for that. ... show more
