  • Amazing camera!!!
First time buying something this expensive from Prime refurbished. I could not be happier with the experience. Camera arrived in pristine condition, in the original box with all accessories. Camera is also top quality, much more tham what a semi-proffessional photographer would need. Now on to a new set of Amazon refurb EF lenses! ... show more

  • I'm very satisfied with this used camera body.
I was skeptical of the quality of a used product, but this has been a great purchase. As of now, I've not run into any problems in this camera body. I am especially pleased with the GPS functionality. It is, however, I little heavy, especially when traveling. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this camera. It is an excellent value for the money spent. ... show more

  • Great camera at a great price
I upgraded from an MIII to get AF Video - there's tons of reviews out there about Canon's AF Video, IBIS v. Lens IS v. Mirrorless, full frame, 4K ... yada yada. If you're about to spend a couple grand on a camera body you don't need me to comment on those issues. All I can add is the "renewed" product is flawless ... if it was used & returned there's no evidence of it. Other than not coming in the original box it was packed well, all accessories were included and individually wrapped. the extended warranty info was in the box and amazon pre- registered the camera. i've bought a ton of used & renewed photo gear ... ive only ever had one problem (not with or related to amazon). it's a great way to get a great deal i wouldn't hesitate to buy renewed from amazon in the future. ... show more

  • Better off buying new.
This was my first refurbish camera. I photograph constantly and needed a Full frame. I bought this mark 4 with high expectations. After the first session the inconvenience began. It first off would not connect to my lap top for tethered shooting. My capture One will not recognize camera. I have a 7D Mark 2 and a 6D mark 2, that are recognized with no problem. So it's not a connection problem. I updated the 5D mark 4 and still nothing. I tried shooting wireless and still not seen by my laptop. This is a huge problem. And quite honestly, so embarrassing. When shooting to card, it will shut off mid shoot. I have to take the battery out to even get it to work again. Also during a shoot, my lens will pop out of the lens slot. Causing the camera to not work, beginning the battery out ritual. Picture quality was rarely sharp on AF and fuzzy for the most part. I used different lenses and the quality is the same. So disappointed with this purchase. I will stick to new from now on. ... show more

  • It's fine, but wish I had something else.
This is great for portraits. Close range stuff is where this camera shines. Works well in natural lighting, but I'll admit some of the settings are tricky to work with in Manual. Could be user error, but I never had these kinds of frustrations with past DSLR cameras. Manual mode is just what I use since it gives me more control, but sometimes it just shoots too slow unless in high speed capture mode as opposed to a single click and capture. Super wish the screen was a flip out one. Really wish I would have opted for a camera that had that. Decided to try it without and have regretted it ever since. Had to buy an external monitor to attach to the top of the camera where the flash would be. Thankfully the camera works well with attachments that aren't Canon. This is a nice camera, don't get me wrong, but if you're going to invest in a high ticket item, I'd opt for a mirrorless camera. I've been using this camera for over 3 years (very late review), but now that I've had a good amount of time with it under my belt, I find myself wanting something else. ... show more

  • Addition to my camera set up.
My only complaint is that everytime Canon comes out with a new camera, they make them so the lenses aren't compatible.
