The chair is exactly as it says. This is for a larger body individual and those who are looking for something oversized may not be as happy with it. The biggest change I would do is to put USB instead of at the end of a controller.

    • Great lift chair for a bigger person, but seat poking

Overall the chair is great for someone like me who is a big guy. Plenty of support and width. I fit in it with room to spare. I have had it now for a couple months and the only down side, which is pretty much a critical one, is in the middle of the seat cushion I feel a hard metal bit push into my bottom when sitting in it. Even my wife who is very small feels it too. The lift mechanism works great and actually goes up and forward, some other chairs I feel like they only push forward. I am looking to get a custom cushion made to put on top of it, but for the money I shouldn't have to do that. I do not know if its part of the massage bits sticking up higher or what. Sometimes I can move side to side and not feel it as bad. If it weren't for this one issue, this would be a 5 star product. To much of a pain to be able to return, so I am just trying to make the most out of it. When I can be comfortable enough in it, its a great item to have and makes standing back up much easier with my hip and knee issues. ... show more

This chair came in 3 large boxes. One day apart for the last box. They are large boxes with so you will need 2 people to handle. Once all three boxes arrived…. The assembly was fairly easy. Some of it was intuitive…since there were no point by point written instructions. But it is very comfortable and works well. Now we just need for my 95 year old mother to agree to try it out! ... show more

We bought two chairs a few months ago. The chairs shipped quickly and they were fairly easy to assemble – though the directions were not great and it took some time to figure out how to plug in the electrical wires. The chairs are very puffy when out of the box and the fabric is a lovely color gray and very soft. The massage and heat are nice but after only a few months the heat does not seem to be working properly in my chair (this may be due to the fact that I need to have pillows on mine so maybe the pillows absorb the heat – see below). Also, we do not use the lift option as we do not need it – though we have tried it and the chairs seem very stable and safe for our weight. However, my chair has a bent bracket in the rear (right side if you are sitting on the chair) so the chair never sat evenly. The chairs are massive so for me being a female at about 5'4" of average weight it is amazing as I can sit sideways and tuck my knees and feet in. However, it is a bit too large so I also need to place a pillow to my right or left if I sit facing forward. Further, I must place two pillows vertically behind my back so that my feet can reach the floor. The biggest negative is that there is a massive gap between the backrest and the seat so I need to shove a pillow in the gap or it is very uncomfortable. This is unacceptable. The chair does not recline all the way so you can sleep on it but not flat. This is okay for me. Yet, because of the messed-up bracket when you lower the foot rest it does this big clunk to the right like the chair is falling - very strange and off putting. Finally – it seems that the foam in the footrest is breaking down very fast. For the price this is a decent chair but it is definitely only a temporary chair - I prefer to purchase forever furniture. Would we buy them again? No, probably not. Instead we would save our pennies and buy better quality chairs. That said - it’s not a horrible chair - it’s okay - just not as good as we had hoped for. BUT - if you don’t have time to save for your forever chair - it is not a bad choice - so long as the chair you receive doesn’t have a faulty bracket and heater. ... show more

I contacted the seller and Sharon had two power cords were sent out and we received them today. My wife and I both love the chairs. We have had the chair for about 2 weeks. The heat and massage part of the chair worked great at first but we noticed the control for it gets very hot. Now the system doesn’t work at all, no heat, no massage. I’ve unplugged the controller and the system and then put it back to make sure they were completely connected, still nothing.
