In addition, the finished candle keeps the brightness of the color, the surface is not flaked, does not tarnish with time.Important to know:1. How to increase the number of shades? The dye is easily crushed into small pieces, which allows you to mix it with other dyes, thus creating a variety of colors and shades.2. Acceleration of dissolution. To accelerate the process of dissolution of the dye mix with the mass of the candle at a temperature of at least 150 - 170 °F degrees3. How to calculate the required amount of dyeDosage depends on the fat content, hardness and purity of candle mass. More dye is required for wax candles. To dye the entire base of paraffin weighing 1 lb, only 0.02-0.06 oz of dye is sufficient. For wax weighing the same, you need to add 0.03-0.08 oz. 4. Dyeing of candles can be executed in two ways:Entire dyeing. The dye is added to the paraffin mixture of the melted base, is mixed thoroughly until full solidification, and then poured into a mold.Partial dyeing. Dipping finished product in the solution is carried out after the complete solidification of the candles.

Very happy with the color- I use in 4630 Harmony blend parasoy wax and just a few small chips color the wax beautifully.I have used about 9 different colors so far and the only issue is the brighter yellow and orange colors needs to be added at a higher temp - I will add it when I melt next time to make sure it completely melts and blends. Will definitely buy again and again! ... show more

These colors came individually packaged as shown. The instructions note the min/max temperatures for when they should be added to the melted wax, I poured mine in around 160 degrees Fahrenheit. If you look at the candles I made, the big jar on the left was 2 Lbs of Wax. The instructions say to get the greatest effect of the colors to only use one packet of color into 1.5Lbs of Wax, that is why the Yellow color looks a little washed out, because the additional wax diluted it a bit. I made 3 of the Aquamarine-colored jars on the right. In total, I made 3 of those which used a little under a Lb of wax. The wax melted very quickly and I think my candles came out great. Usually I do not add colors to my candles but this process was easy and I would definitely do it again. It comes with 16 colors as pictured and I can't wait to try out the rest. We used these dyes with soy wax for our campers to make nice scented soy melts. The colors were very vibrant and melted easily in the wax; the color was totally even. We made about 100 small / medium candles and used only about 1/3 of the color.

The product came in a small, white box with a clear, plastic window to allow you to see the dyes inside. Upon opening the box, I could see that there was a little divider that created eight compartments. The tiny packages of dye were stacked two in each compartments, each package numbered and labelled with the appropriate color name. I really appreciate this packaging and applaud the seller. I used the aquamarine for my first batch of candles. This is my first time attempting candle making, but the process turned out smoothly. The soy wax took the color easily and the color is consistent through the entire batch. I used approximately 1.5 to 2 pounds of wax and used around 75% of the dye within the aquamarine pouch. I feel this is a good value for the price and I will be able to make many, many candles with this dye. I am fond of the colors and am excited to try mixing them to create new colors in the future. ... show more
