The media could not be loaded. I had not gone camping since I was a kid, so I wasn't really sure on which tent to buy. After doing a bit of research, I settled on this little guy. It says it fits 3-4 people, but I would say it's more of a two person tent for comfortability. I guess you could have three adults in there if you didn't have any bags with you, and each person used a single sized mat. My roommate and I camped in here together with her using a twin-sized air mattress, and me using a single sized mat (width of a sleeping bag). There were maybe 3-4 inches between them. We camped two nights in a desert area with pretty high winds both nights without anchoring down the tent or the rainfly. The first night we got to the site pretty late, but were able to set up the tent in minutes, and only secured the rainfly with one of the two velcro latches (we didn't notice the second one until the next night). I had practiced setting up the tent beforehand, by myself, and it's super easy. The winds were probably somewhere between 15-30mph. Without fully securing the rainfly down, it stayed on both nights, to my surprise. On the second night, it rained briefly, but we stayed dry. I can't say how it holds up in constant rain. It was a bit warm at night, but with the front window open, and the winds, it kept the tent a pretty nice temperature. I had trouble sleeping, though, because of the whipping of the tent. I will say, the next morning, without either of us in, and it not being secured down with wind blowing, it didn't blow away (I really thought it was going to!). After this campsite, we camped in a more forested area, and secured everything down with the stakes (the tent and the rainfly this time). There was quite a bit of wind at first, and the tent didn't budge. It stopped by night, and the temperature dropped a lot. We were definitely cold, but that is expected in a tent. As for size and weight, I was able to pack it up in my suitcase (it was actually smaller than my beach chair), so that was a huge bonus. I was flying back from where we were camping, so the compact size was perfect. I'm not sure how it would do in a backpack (as it advertises for hiking), but it was a decent size. Picked up this tent for the sole purpose of using it with my two youngest girls for backyard camping / 'Galmping' and none of us were a bit disappointed! Setup was literally minutes (it's just two poles to setup the main tent) we did not use the rainfly portion of the tent because the forecast was clear of rain, so we were able to take full advantage of the bulk of the tent being see through mesh netting to watch the stars. Tent had plenty of room for the 3 of us, also had 3 camping mats laid out with our blankets, pillows, and misc stuff and STILL a good deal of room left over (like a walkway between my mat and the little ones mats for example) The only gripe I can have about this tent is the main zipper for the door, but honestly almost all of the tents I've owned in my life had had issues with the zipper so I think it's less about this tent and more of how most tents are made overall. ... show more

    • Affordable and easy to set up
This tent has an interior area of almost 50 square feet, boasts of a sturdy frame and fabric (Polyester). I think the tent is most suited for use during summer as well as in areas with low to moderate winds and downpour. Given space, this tent will comfortably accommodate two adults and an equal number of children or four adults with small or medium body sizes. It is difficult to find a tent that can ventilate well, based on my experience. The large door necessitates easy entry and exit and features a hooded fly, which essentially provides ventilation even when there is rain. Secondly, the tent incorporates a hooded window in the rear end of the tent to provide enough airflow for refreshing cross ventilation. Lastly, hooded mesh vents in the roof provide sufficient ventilation throughout all weather conditions. We all know that whether we are camping in our backyard or thousands of miles away from home, weather out there can really be harsh. We need protection from extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and ground moisture, among others. This tent, in my opinion, performs well; in all these conditions. The bathtub style 185T polyester with the 1000mm polyurethane hydrostatic rated coating on the floor has welded seams and secure corners to protect from the leaky floor and extreme weather conditions. All ventilations, including door, window, and mesh on the roof are all hooded to prevent water from dripping into the tent when it is raining. Pros Easy to set up. Very affordable. It is sufficiently ventilated. Durable. Comes with a carry bag hence portable. Cons Not spacious enough for four adults with big size bodies. Not ideal for use in environments with heavy rains and strong winds. ... show more

The tent is nice, the only drawback is that the zipper keeps on catching on the orange trimming, it’s also very flimsy
