I’ve used it twice now, and both times it’s been a great experience. It rained on one of our trips, and it stayed completely dry inside and no leaks at all. The waterproofing really works. I also love the vent flaps; they provide great airflow and help keep it from feeling stuffy inside. It’s also super easy to set up and take down, and it’s surprisingly lightweight for its size. I was able to manage it on my own without any issues . If you’re looking for a spacious, reliable tent, I’d definitely recommend this one. Plenty of space, able to fully stand up inside so height is good, works great for families or groups, we had a light rain storm and tent did not leak, love all the windows for air, made pretty well. Only complaint is the zippers, there's only 1 zipper per door and it catches at the bottom. We were able to fit 1 queen air mattress and 3 xl twin air mattresses with plenty of space for walking or putting luggage. Held up well with 4 kids. Definitely need at least 2 people to set it up. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had not gone camping since I was a kid, so I wasn't really sure on which tent to buy. After doing a bit of research, I settled on this little guy. It says it fits 3-4 people, but I would say it's more of a two person tent for comfortability. I guess you could have three adults in there if you didn't have any bags with you, and each person used a single sized mat. My roommate and I camped in here together with her using a twin-sized air mattress, and me using a single sized mat (width of a sleeping bag). There were maybe 3-4 inches between them. We camped two nights in a desert area with pretty high winds both nights without anchoring down the tent or the rainfly. The first night we got to the site pretty late, but were able to set up the tent in minutes, and only secured the rainfly with one of the two velcro latches (we didn't notice the second one until the next night). I had practiced setting up the tent beforehand, by myself, and it's super easy. The winds were probably somewhere between 15-30mph. Without fully securing the rainfly down, it stayed on both nights, to my surprise. On the second night, it rained briefly, but we stayed dry. I can't say how it holds up in constant rain. It was a bit warm at night, but with the front window open, and the winds, it kept the tent a pretty nice temperature. I had trouble sleeping, though, because of the whipping of the tent. I will say, the next morning, without either of us in, and it not being secured down with wind blowing, it didn't blow away (I really thought it was going to!). After this campsite, we camped in a more forested area, and secured everything down with the stakes (the tent and the rainfly this time). There was quite a bit of wind at first, and the tent didn't budge. It stopped by night, and the temperature dropped a lot. We were definitely cold, but that is expected in a tent. As for size and weight, I was able to pack it up in my suitcase (it was actually smaller than my beach chair), so that was a huge bonus. I was flying back from where we were camping, so the compact size was perfect. I'm not sure how it would do in a backpack (as it advertises for hiking), but it was a decent size. Overall, after using it four nights, in wind and a little rain, I'm happy with the tent. ... show more

So. Much. Water. First the positives. Easy to assemble. So spacious and perfect for our family. Easily fit three queens across with room for bags etc… First night in tent (assembled correctly ) it rained. We had standing water on the ground of the test coming from the slanted walls on the long end . Seams were not the problem, it was coming right through the walls. The rain cover only covers a small area of those edges. I am at a loss. I am not a tent rookie. Anyone else have this experience ? We bought in July and it’s too late to return. Shoot. Had higher hopes. We will try and spray the water repellant spray but disappointed we need it . ... show more
