Plain and simple, but it did the job well. Easy to put together, the water pump has enough pressure to provide a good flow of water from the shower head, and the water got hot fast!! I had a little issue on one of the knobs but their tech support answered my email in less than a day and resolved the issue in less than 3 days. Customer service is why it gets a 5 star.

The water heater was very easy to install, and it’s wonderful to have an outdoor shower with As much hot water as long as you want. The outside of the shower has bamboo on it, the inside has cedar, which smells really good when you shower. All I needed to do was to run a garden hose out to the outdoor shower.

I purchased this last year but just took it out of the packaging this morning as I never had a need until now to use it. Everything was carefully hooked up per instructions and initially it appeared to be working out just fine, hot water was coming out. However, things quickly got worse. The flames in the unit begin to vary in size even on the lowest setting and the unit would shut off randomly because of overheating. The water coming out the end was scalding and steaming. I looked at the back of the unit and the metal was scorched and the label melted on the side of the unit. Luckily this was a temporary test run and not installed on a wood platform as that would’ve caused a fire. Also someone could’ve got seriously burned if using as a shower because the temp was not consistent. I would recommend spending a little more for a more reliable unit or maybe I just got a defect not sure? Unfortunately I am outside my return window because I took so long to test but just wanted to share my experience. Plus instructions are not clear about how to adjust or set the correct heat and temperature using the dials, the unit also would immediately shut off if the water side knob was slightly turned higher than the lowest setting. ** would like to amend my review as Camplux quickly reached out to me in order to rectify the issue and safety concerns I had faced with my defective unit. Keep this is mind when you purchase that you do have a good company behind their product!

Contacted Camplux about issues, they sent out a new heater, fingers crossed, excellent company to deal with! *** First review***Works great, easy to set and regulate temperature unless the propane tank is running low... at about half a tank the temperature controls are useless. I'm not sure why but we have been through two tanks and the same thing happened with both, but a new tank and it works perfectly again. ***UPDATE***Started blasting out scalding hot water ONLY, about three minutes (while it heats up) of useable water. Now, it just doesn't work! 19 days outside the return period... so now I guess I have to buy another one. Not this brand, this is my third heater for my cabin in the last 8 years and the others lasted approximately 4 years each.

We used this product for a total of about 3 hours in the two summers we have had it… it has been extremely difficult to regulate the temperature from day one but we dealt with it because of how fun it is to shower outside…Now it has just completely QUIT working all together… it’s to expensive of a unit for this to happen…

This made our camp! Only problem is the hose to the shower handle broke on day 1 and we had to duct tape the heck out of it. If the hose was sturdier this product would be perfect! Update 8/24/24: Camplux reached out to me after reading my review and sent a new shower handle and hose free of charge. I am truly impressed that they cared enough about me as a customer to reach out and make it right! I think that is pretty rare. I haven't had a chance to use the replacement hose and handle but I am happy that they bothered to send it. That is great customer service!

My outdoor shower is amazing. People from around the camp ground are coming by to see and duplicate mine. Endless hot water shower and I mean as hot as you want! Easy to set up too. I’m gonna expand the use to heat the water for my camper as well!
