  • A Must Have Book
Couldn't put it down! It's jam packed with helpful insights, info, suggestions, invaluable check-lists, recipes and personal stories. I especially enjoyed where she talks about us as being voyeurs with other campers. We have enjoyed hours of entertainment watching others set-up. We also like to take a stroll around the CG to see what others have, how they have set-up outside (or not) and look for ideas we can use. The book is a quick read and a must have for newbies as well as seasoned campers. I highly recommend it. It makes a great gift too. ... show more

  • The newbies PUP guidebook!
Very nicely done handy-dandy go-to book for newbie PUP tent trailer owners. It's given me a wealth of information on what we will need and what to expect from the joys and trials of PUP tent camping. Nice read and good flow of ideas and information.

  • Grateful for Guidance
This book is very seriously the "Guiding Light" for any new Pop Up camper owner. I bought the book because we had just gotten a used Pop Up camper and knew nothing about how to get started outfitting it. This book is getting me at least 90% along the way with fewer mistakes and wasted time and money than I would have used otherwise. The stories are great and the writing style is completely down-to earth. The "checklists" however are the saving grace. The author has given us about 15 ot 20 checklists from how to evaluate campground choices to getting your hamper ready. I would have never thought of so many things she has laid out in straight-forward form and I would have forgotten lots of things that would help make early camping experiences more pleasant. I would highly recommend that any new Pop Up camper owner buy this book and keep it with them through all their first camping trips, adding to each checklist to make their own personal version of each list. For more experienced campers who could still use some organization help to make trips easier, this is also a book to buy. My biggest surprise is that this is the only book of its kind out there since there are many Pop Up camper owners. I'm personally very grateful to the author for taking her time to write this book that can help so many people have a lot better time going camping. ... show more

  • Good info for first time pop up owners.
This book does have a lot of how to info. It did get me ahead of the curve in setting up my own pop up. It got my wheels turning and did a really good job covering most all the bases.

  • A keeper
Even as a lifetime camper and very seasoned pop-up camper, I loved this book. It's a fun read with lots of little anecdotes about the author's camping experiences. Great and accurate information and a must read for any new owner.

  • Excellent knowledge in a condensed yet entertaining format!
We were new to pop-up camping and this book was a God-send for us. Lots of great checklists and handy tips. I used it as a guide, modifying the lists where needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this for ANY new camper.

  • Some good ideas
A very well written book by a knowledgable lady. She has many good ideas-even one idea that I had not thought of and will use. Much better for the beginner than the experienced camper. One complaint is that she did not specify what and how much stuff she stored in the van. It seems to have been a good bit-far more that can be put in her camper. This is important to someone who is using a mini-van as the tow vehicle. ... show more

  • Great idea
We purchased this when we purchased a new pop up trailer. It's come in quite handy, as we routinely note the best camp spots in each location, handy tips & features of each area, and things we need to know when using our trailer. Good way to keep track of the number of trips and adjustments we made in how we used each function of the trailer on the road. ... show more
