These bags are great for personalization, and I used them as end of season gifts for the players in my soccer club. I highly recommend them and would purchase again. I like the reflective strip since it adds a safety feature, especially for elementary school aged kids. I can’t speak much for long term durability, but the reinforced grommets look like they’ll hold up for a few years under normal use. The size is what you’d expect from a standard drawstring bag with one main compartment. For customization, I ordered custom DTF graphics from an online supplier and heat pressed them using my 15" x 15" clamshell press. I normally press at 305°F, but because I used a textured silicone upper platen sheet that acts as an insulator, I raised the temperature to 335°F. With a heat press pillow inside the bag, I pre-pressed the center area for 5 to 8 seconds to smooth it out. Then I applied the DTF sheet and pressed for the recommended 7 seconds. After letting it cool for 5 to 10 seconds, I peeled the film and pressed again for another 10 to 15 seconds. The textured silicone sheet added a subtle texture that made the print look similar to screen print. I also want to point out that I did not experience any warping in the five dozen bags I personalized. The material handled the heat press well at about 305 to 335°F, and every bag kept its shape without distortion. If I were doing HTV, I would still use the same temperatures; the only difference is that some HTV may require a cold or warm peel, so be sure to follow those specific instructions. My graphic was about 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall. I would have placed it lower, but the reflective strip was in the way. Avoid oversized graphics or placing them too high since they can distort when the bag is cinched closed. One thing to be aware of: when heat pressing these bags, you’ll get a noticeable “melted plastic” smell, so make sure you have good ventilation if you plan to press several in one session. ... show more
