The media could not be loaded. The pictures used show this product are pretty misleading. I guess I was expecting a solid plastic figure on a bulb. These are thin colored plastic graphic cutouts on each side of the bulb. That being said, it's a pretty decent set of colored LED lights that are battery operated with AAA batteries making using them without a power source nearby an option, which is nice. Not sure if you could power it with a USB cord to a power source as the power pack plugs into the light string with a USB connector. When it arrived, the package was way smaller than I expected, which makes sense with the figures being only cutouts, not actual plastic figures. Not a bad light set, but overpriced for what you get. So I bought these for my king, he’s a huge, big foot fanatic. I thought he would love these for sure as I’ve gotten him so many big foot items in the past. You have to read through all of the descriptions that the company puts out there. 5 meters is a lot. I thought maybe these would be smaller so he could hang around his desk or a small area like that …nope, no way , there is a lot of lights here. It comes with a little compartment that you use batteries with and then you plug a usb into it in to the battery compartment, a little complicated there. You can plug it into any other USB that you have nearby to light them up but again it’s a little complicated. They are lit up with colored lights, and there is not an option for white lights. That is a big bummer. As a gift I was bummed at the reaction of my man , he thought it was weird, and look puzzled. It was just as goofy as it seems. ... show more

While I love the look of these, I’m disappointed that they don’t work. I bought them in July for my classroom and it didn’t occur to me that I should try them before the return window closed. Once hung, I turned them on using the battery pack and they looked great. To save batteries, I plugged them in using the USB and a “marshmallow”. This did not work and must have shorted the system. As I tried the connection again, and the battery pack again, nothing works. Then I noticed the USB end got really warm and smelled like it might ignite. Unplugged everything to be safe but clearly disappointed. If there is any option to return or replace, please let me know. Otherwise a 2…cuz they are still really cute. ... show more
