This is a very sturdy, well built crate that feels like a premium product. Assembly was straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer. One thing to keep in mind is that it's wider than a standard doorway, so be sure to assemble it in the room where you plan to use it. The crate rolls smoothly, has a solid amount of weight to it, and the latch is secure while still being quick and easy to operate. The size is fantastic for my Great Pyrenees and gives him much more room than previous crates. There are a couple of design choices I would change. The metal grate at the bottom front of the crate can catch dog nails and even allow paw pads to slip between the bars. I would have preferred the grate to be removable or positioned toward the back since the top opening panel already provides easy access for food and water. I also wish it had a second door, as the single door design limits placement options and required me to rearrange furniture to make it work. Overall, the quality, strength, and size make this an excellent crate for large dogs. Despite a few design flaws, I would still recommend it for anyone looking for a durable, secure kennel that offers plenty of space.

I find these heavy-duty crates to be an excellent solution for keeping larger, more active dogs secure and comfortable, especially if you have a pup that tends to be a bit of an "escape artist" or a dedicated chewer. The reinforced square tube frame is significantly more robust than standard wire crates, which gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing the structure is built to withstand pressure and won't easily bend or buckle. I really appreciate the dual-door or top-access features, as they make it so much simpler to interact with my dog, get them in and out, or perform quick cleanups without needing to open the entire kennel. In my experience, the inclusion of a slide-out tray at the bottom is a major convenience, making it quick and easy to keep the interior clean and sanitary without a lot of hassle. While these crates are definitely more substantial, having wheels that lock in place is a fantastic feature for moving them around for cleaning or rearranging the room while keeping them perfectly stable when in use. They offer a great balance of security and comfort, providing enough room for a large dog to stand, turn, and lie down comfortably, which I think is essential for reducing their stress while they are inside. I have found that opting for a high-quality heavy-duty crate is one of the best investments you can make for your pet's safety and your own long-term peace of mind. This is one of the most heavy-duty crates I've encountered in all my years rescuing and fostering dogs. I ordered it thinking I'd replace a wire one that we already have with this one, but it's entirely too big for the space. Unless it's assembled on the wheels, it is not anywhere close to being portable (it weighs 74 pounds!). It is, however, a high-quality crate for a big dog, especially one who wants to try to chew their way to freedom. I cannot speak to how easy it is to assemble because I didn't--there are other reviewers who cover that territory--but I can speak to the fact that it's comfortable for an 80-100lb labrador retriever because I donated it to a foster from the local lab rescue who takes the big guys, and they're already using it. They really like the top opening that makes it easier to change out kennel cups or give the kiddos treats and pets while they decompress from shelter or abuse situations. This crate is pricey compared to the usual wire crates of a similar size, but it's also taller than those are, and a regular wire crate won't come with wheels, a top opening, separate bed and food spaces, or a reinforced tube frame, so this is definitely a case of you'll get what you pay for. I would highly recommend this for anyone who fosters or has big dogs

This crate is much more comfortable for our 1-year old American Bully XL (she's at least 100 pounds and still has some growing to do) . Since we replaced her old crate with this one, she now has enough room to move around, stretch out, and sit up without ducking her head, even with a more plush bed and her "emotional support octopus" in there. The extra height and width make a noticeable difference for a dog her size. I like that it opens from both the top and the side. This design is convenient because if I want to put something in the crate (food, a toy, etc.) while she’s inside, I can use the top door without worrying about her trying to escape out the side door. The frame feels sturdy and secure, and the split floor makes it easier to clean. The extra‑wide door gives her more room to walk in and out comfortably. This crate is working very well for our needs

This crate arrived mostly preassembled, making setup much easier than expected. With two people, assembly went smoothly thanks to the clear instructions and fold-out design. Most of the crate simply unfolds into position before securing a few remaining pieces. The overall construction feels incredibly sturdy and everything is included that’s needed. The heavy-duty steel frame inspires confidence, and the latching system is one of my favorite features. The latches are compact but strong, easy to operate, and automatically snap securely back into place when closed. Both entry points are convenient and provide excellent access. I especially appreciate the adjustable floor height, which allowed me to create a more comfortable setup for my 65-pound dog. The wood resting platform and feeding area configuration are thoughtful additions that make the crate feel more like a living space than simply a containment area. My only small complaint is that installing the tray support bars required more force than expected, but once assembled, the entire crate feels exceptionally solid and secure.

Our large dog had destroyed two previous crates by chewing through the bars and bending the frame, so we needed something that could actually contain a determined 80-pound escape artist. This CAMMOO 48 inch heavy duty crate has held up to everything he can throw at it thanks to the reinforced square tube frame and chew-proof dual top fences that eliminate the weak points where other crates fail. The extra-wide door makes getting him in and out much easier, especially when he is not particularly cooperative about crate time. The split floor design makes cleaning straightforward since accidents and spilled water can be cleaned without moving the entire crate or trying to reach into tight corners. The comfort features like proper ventilation and sight lines help reduce the anxiety that made him destructive in cheaper crates. Build quality is clearly designed for large, strong dogs rather than the flimsy residential crates that work fine for smaller or calmer pets. Having this portable and foldable is a big plus for us, and once built it feels very sturdy without feeling like its gonna fall apart.
