This rug is soft. No shedding at all. The design is bold. The colors are slightly muted from the pictures. Still got that boom factor. I put mine under my dining room table. It has withstood dropped food and spilled drinks. I’d rebuy this in a heartbeat. I’d give this rug 4.5 rating.

Update: it's been almost a month and still can't get creases out. I've placed heavy shelving on the creases and wrinkles for days atva time and still doesn't help. I'm going to give it until a few days before return window expires but I'm not very hopeful so probably will return. Sad because it looks great and feels soft. Overall it looks good. A bit of a chore getting creases out. Came damaged (semi small tear on backing). The bad news is it smelled horrible. I had to actually wash the backing multiple times (a big chore for a larger rug), and that was after letting it air out for 3 days. But after 4 times cleaning it finally became nuetral. I bought this for our new place we are moving to. The only reason I did not return is that we were not moving our stuff in right away. I cannot imagine dealing with this issue in a condo or apartment without a garage. ... show more
