I'm the butt of my co-workers jokes because I like flavored coffee. Whatever. They like drinking bitter diaper mud, I have refined tastes. I don't drink sodas or like much sugar, but I love flavored coffee. I bought this out of curiosity. I'm really glad that I did. The taste is rich and fresh, and brews up so very nicely (drip coffee). It gives an amazingly aromatic smell around the whole house and when I set the coffee timer and smell it downstairs in the morning it makes me really happy. The beans are fresh and grind up nicely. I first saw this coffee at Amazon. I had never heard of Cameron's and this particular flavor sounded good. The aroma of the beans is wonderful. The aroma while brewing awakens me clear in the bedroom as its' set using the built in timer. My first cup and that was it ! Although I still like a strong dark French roast, this medium roasted Cameron's Toasted Southern Pecan is now my favorite brew. The Aroma and Flavor is GREAT ! I would like to try some other roast by Cameron's, but I can't seem to make a change since I like this soooo much ! Really good coffee ! I highly recommend ! I buy 5 lbs of coffee beans every 2 months. Trying to stick to a coffee budget when you enjoy the pricier coffee is very hard, to me. To me the experience is similar to trying the best chocolate in the world, then trying to go backwards to inferior quality, boy, that is hard. Earlier this year I tried a sale price on a few different brands of expensive coffee beans that I normally do not buy and thought....ugh oh, now what, how can I get this rich taste again, for the same sale price? Impossible! Yikes! Well, this fabulous price popped up, for 4 lbs....wow, nice Xmas present AND it tastes great! Will it kick your butt like espresso or stronger blends with that first sip? No, it is not bitter, not earthy or like the bark tasting 5lbs of coffee beans I did struggle to drink from Scotland, but it is flavorful, not weak on taste and if you add a bit more while brewing, yes, you can make it stronger. I figured this coffee would be great from seeing the good reviews. I'm starting to think they are from the company. I was looking for a good southern pecan coffee and this tastes nothing like pecans. It tastes like hazelnut. If I wanted hazelnut, I would buy it. The coffee itself tastes okay, but it doesn't taste how it should.
