This gooseneck clamp mount can be used in a wide variety of applications- not just for small action cameras- but that is the highest and likely best use. The clamp itself is relatively strong, but not as strong as the OEM unit I have from one of the 'big names' I bought several years ago. That being said, this clamp is still plenty strong, and in normal use conditions, will work just fine. The gooseneck itself- is extremely stiff. While this is excellent for keeping the camera in the desired position, it makes this unit somewhat difficult to store in a convenient location- at least in my use case. Comes with a 1/4"-20 adapter for action cams- which is average in quality. For the price point of $17 at the time of receipt, this is a good value.

I'll never get why GoPro didn't spend more time patenting mounts. This clamp is better than what they sell off their website. Strong plastic, good spring, and rubber padded grips that feel like they'll last. Bonus: the gooseneck is tight and feels like it'll stay that way for as long as I need it.

For 17 bucks? You bet your waterproof housing this is a steal. This flex clamp mount is the kind of gadget that makes you feel like a behind-the-scenes action film director… even if you’re just clamping it to a folding chair at the lake. The gooseneck holds strong, bends where you want it, and—unlike my cousin Judd—it actually stays in place. The jaws have enough bite to grip onto just about anything short of a greased-up dolphin. Works with all the usual suspects—GoPros, Insta360s, Mevo, DJI—basically, if it’s an action cam and not a potato, this mount can handle it. Solid piece of kit for the toolbox. Four stars only because it doesn’t come with a director’s chair and megaphone.

At its simplest, this is a snaking articulable gooseneck arm on a very sturdy clamp with a 1/4 x20 camera mount on top. Includes a basic gopro style 1/4x20 adapter mount, but don't let that fool you, you can put anything on here with a 1/4x20 mount (this is very standard in tripods for photo equipment, lighting, lots of things). It's a strong and sturdy gooseneck style unit, grips on great and securely. I don't think I'd take it on a 100mph motorcycle ride, but it's pretty much good for anything up to about that level of intensity.

clamp grips tight to the railing on my porch. used it with my gopro for a family cookout. neck is stiff but bendable. not too big to pack in a bag. solid for what it costs.

The clamp is pretty strong and has a good grip. The stem also has sufficient stiffness to it and will hold an action cam without swaying. It's too thick to clamp underneath typical backpack shoulder straps though. The clamp and stem uses a standard 3/8" screw so you can mount other hardware, such as an LED light. Great travel accessory.

This is a versatile camera, gooseneck mount. The end of the arm has a standard 1/4-20 screw so it fits my Insta360 along with any other device that is designed to mount on a standard tripod screw. It comes with a plastic action camera mount that is average quality and works fine. The clamp is strong and opens wide enough to fit on a 2x4. The arm is stiffer and harder to bend than other gooseneck mounts I've used. I could see where some folks might not like that, but I am fine with it. For the price ($16.99 at the time of this review), this is a great gooseneck camera mount
