This is our second Mini Mule. It’s great for kids, starting around age 2.5. They love carrying their own water and I love that I don’t have to share my bite valve. The only downside is storage space - there isn’t much here. Maybe room for a sandwich or some sunglasses. That said, we use it for little kids on short hikes, so it’s not a big deal. I purchased one of these for each of my kids (ages 5, 6 and 8) to help keep their hands free on hikes. (I previously had them use straps for water bottles, but they were always clanging around and in the way) They fit perfectly, carry more than enough water and also have enough space for snacks and other items (bandaids, binoculars, etc) One downside is that two of the three were leaking where the hose connects to the bladder. I just removed the hose, trimmed the end and reconnected it and that solved the problem. ... show more
